Ultimate Patchouli WF/2020 Parfum

Ultimate Patchouli WF/20 bears its darkest note in its name, but begins quite differently from what one might expect from a classic patchouli fragrance. No heavy earthiness, no damp forest note: first, sparkling bergamot, warm ambrette, and the dry spice of saffron flower come together.

Ambrette gives the opening a soft, natural musky fullness. Saffron flower adds a slightly tart, almost leathery nuance, already hinting at where the fragrance will develop. Bergamot keeps the beginning bright and prevents the composition from becoming too dense too early.

Ultimate Patchouli is therefore less a classic patchouli perfume than a floral-leathery fragrance with a finely crafted patchouli base. Application

• Spray the eau de parfum from a distance of approximately 15–20 cm onto warm areas of skin such as the neck, wrists, crooks of the arms, or behind the ears.
• Do not rub your wrists together after applying, so that the individual fragrance phases can develop as faithfully as possible.
• Start with two to three sprays. Bergamot, rose, and pomegranate are initially more prominent, while patchouli, suede, and skin musk become more noticeable over time.
• Perfume often lasts longer on well-moisturized skin. For this purpose, it is best to use an unscented body moisturizer.
• Patchouli, suede, and musk in particular may remain noticeable on clothing for longer. Test delicate or light-colored fabrics first in an inconspicuous area.
• Store protected from heat and direct sunlight.
