Treu & Beard Short

HEY! We are Katrin & Jen. We met in 2007 at the State Fashion School Stuttgart and have been friends ever since. Independently, each of us founded her own label with the same values: Eco - made in Germany - vegan. TREU & BÖRD SHÖRT were born! Something meaningful and sustainable was to be created from leftover materials. The idea quickly arose to develop washable makeup remover pads and other accessories from soft sweatshirt fabric.

Alongside the soft classic made from double-layered, soft sweatshirt fabric, the duo of sweatshirt and terry cloth was added. The reusable makeup remover pads are sewn in the Treu studio by Katrin. And so sustainable products were created that are eco, made in Germany, and vegan. Washable and sustainable makeup remover pads you can stay Treu to, and scrunchies you love! The use of fair-trade organic cotton is a given for us and is part of the overall concept of Treu and Börd Shört.

Anyone can start small, even if it’s initially 'just' washable makeup remover pads made in Germany. Admittedly, that’s only a small step in the right direction, but as everyone knows, every marathon starts with the first meter! Come along, it’s very simple :).
