Founded by makeup artist Kirsten Kjaer Weis, KW combines a minimalist Scandinavian aesthetic with the authentic vibe of New York. Kjaer creates makeup that is as beautiful on the skin as it is in the uniquely designed luxurious and sustainable packaging. Whether foundation, mascara, eyeshadow, or the famous cream blush, Kjaer Weis products impress with their high quality.

Kirsten Kjaer Weis grew up on a farm in Denmark, attended the renowned Christian Chauveau School of Artistic Make-Up in Paris, and worked worldwide for some of the most famous fashion magazines like Vogue, Elle, and Marie Claire. As a sought-after makeup artist in New York, Kirsten Kjaer Weis repeatedly noticed that synthetic makeup causes allergies, irritates the eyes, or is generally bad for the skin. Kirsten used her experience of growing up in a natural environment and her knowledge of beauty to break new ground in the industry and found Kjaer Weis. A pioneer for natural ingredients, luxurious beauty, and elegant, sustainable packaging. The result is exceptional natural cosmetic makeup products like the Im-Possible mascara, the lightly tinting The Beautiful Tint, the silky-soft eye shadow, the Invisible Touch foundation, or the nourishing tinted lip balms.

Kirsten Kjaer Weis: "Scandinavia is calm, introspective, minimalist. New York is intense and vehement. The two worlds seem so different, but they can work together. Kjaer Weis connects both worlds. A pioneer who uncompromisingly combines luxury and sustainability. The refill solutions from Kjaer Weis are unique. Simple, but not ordinary. Luxurious, but always honest. At KW, we love it when things are done right and last a long time.

I believe that when I was growing up, everything we did was organic. Everything we ate came from our garden. That was a given. I never really thought about it before, but subconsciously I always had this love for nature inside me. The older I got, the more I realized that growing up on a farm had a really big impact on me. I am now sure that “natural” is always better than synthetic. You don’t have to make compromises.
