WA:IT

WA:IT was founded by Raffaella Grisa. As an advocate of a mindful beauty culture, she created the brand WA:IT Botanicamente, which reflects her life philosophy and principles that she discovered during her travels around the world and encounters with different cultures. As a long-time commuter between Italy and the Far East, she has deeply engaged with the diverse values, traditions, and holistic approaches to life.

With WA:IT Botanicamente, she wants to share a philosophy: to appreciate the present moment, to take care of oneself, and to become aware of this self. Instead of being distracted from real life by the rush of pressing and important plans and mechanically performed tasks. The name WA:IT represents a combination of these ideas... WA (the old name of Japan, but also harmony) combined with IT, the prefix of Italy. At the same time, WA:IT can be read in English as "wait." Deceleration, becoming aware of oneself, and giving time only to oneself. With the perfumes HITO and HARU, she has succeeded in creating distinctive, serene, iconic fragrances.
