How did it all start? There are moments that truly shape our lives and give them a new direction. For me, such a moment was in the summer of 2005, when I met a handsome and friendly Swede in Florida. From this first encounter, love quickly blossomed, and a few years later I moved to Sweden. I won’t lie: the cold Swedish winters didn’t exactly thrill me, but the Swedish spring and summer? That was a great story. The beauty and easy access to nature turned this former city girl into a nature lover. I had always had a fondness for modern Swedish design, but soon developed a new passion for natural and organic beauty.
In 2015, this passion became a business: Henné Organics. The idea was to combine my love for Scandinavian design with the best organic beauty products. I didn’t want old-fashioned “eco” products; I wanted products I would personally be proud to have on my bathroom shelf. Henné means “her” in Swedish and is a tribute to women and the beauty of our uniqueness. The name is also a tribute to Sweden, the inspiration for my brand and products.
