sitre is a Danish intimacy and body care brand that consciously destigmatizes intimacy – quietly, stylishly, and with the standards of modern skincare. The essentials accompany intimate moments just as naturally as daily self-care: with pleasant textures, transparent formulations, and a design you won’t want to hide.
sitre was founded by Cecilie Hjelmager and Julie Herskin, who often found products in the sex wellness sector either clichéd or overly clinical – and not of the quality level of premium body care. sitre develops essentials that feel good and are formulated with the same care as modern skincare.
The Philosophy
sitre does not see pleasure as provocation, but as part of wellness: open, inclusive, and without shame. The brand speaks of “every body, every gender, every story” – creating a space where intimacy is not judged but respectfully supported.
The Range
From water-based lubricants to nourishing oils, to pH-balanced wash products and massage candles, sitre combines intimacy and care so that both become natural. Many products are intentionally multi-use – for ritual moments after showering, for massage, for sex, for closeness. All formulas are vegan, cruelty-free, dermatologically tested, and free from glycerin, sugar, parabens, and fragrance (in intimate products). Production takes place in Europe: intimate essentials in Denmark, soaps and candles in the UK.
