Natural Cosmetics Concealer

Concealer is probably one of the most used makeup products overall and should not be missing from any makeup bag. But what exactly is a concealer? The name comes from English: to conceal, which can be translated as to cover or hide.
What is a Concealer?
A concealer is nothing more than a coverage stick with varying degrees of opacity. What can we cover with a natural cosmetics concealer? Dark circles, small redness, pimples, blemishes, small veins, pigmentation spots, or scars. But isn’t that also done with a foundation?
Unlike a foundation, concealer is usually applied spot-wise and then blended with the skin tone. The beige or skin-colored concealers are more pigmented and have higher coverage than foundations.

Natural versus Conventional Concealers
The ingredients are the decisive difference. While almost all concealers use iron oxides and titanium oxides to achieve the necessary coverage, natural cosmetics concealers are based on vegan plant oils, waxes, butters, and plant extracts. The textures are light and additionally provide nutrients and moisture, inspired by products from natural, pollutant-free facial care.
Conventional coverage sticks, on the other hand, often contain parabens, silicones, PEG compounds, and other petroleum-based ingredients. Concealers are often applied directly under the sensitive eyes to cover dark circles and redness and should therefore be completely free of harmful ingredients.
