Active Ingredients

• Castor oil (Ricinus communis seed oil) is largely composed of ricinoleic acid, which has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. The oil combats impurities, moisturizes, improves scar texture, and smooths the skin. Its high vitamin E content also helps fight free radicals and premature skin aging.
• Shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii (shea) nut butter) is derived from the fruit of the shea tree. Shea butter has a long tradition as a care and healing remedy. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, and beta carotene, the butter protects against environmental stress, binds moisture, fights free radicals, promotes cell regeneration, and softens skin and hair.
• The candelilla shrub native to Mexico has adapted to the scorching heat of its environment. Its branches and leaves are coated with a wax that protects against moisture loss and environmental stress: candelilla wax (Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax). The wax is used as a texture and shaping component in cosmetic products. Combined with other oils, it leaves a pleasant, non-sticky skin feel after application. It adds shine and smoothness to hair.
