Skin Barrier Reset Cream by NAYA was developed precisely for these phases: as a deliberately minimalist reset care for skin that is overstimulated, overcared for, or whose barrier function is out of balance – the curative resting point for your skin barrier.

The formula relies on skin-like lipids, ceramides, and soothing active ingredients to support the skin barrier, reduce moisture loss, and make the skin feel pleasant again. Highly dosed hydrogenated phosphatidylcholine, ceramide NP, squalane, madecassoside, shea butter, and glycerin form a short, clear INCI list without unnecessary complexity. The texture is light, breathable, and not heavily occlusive – ideal for a phase when the skin needs as little irritation potential as possible.

• Hydrogenated Phosphatidylcholine (HPC) is a biomimetic lipid complex that mimics the natural structure of the epidermal lipid matrix and can functionally integrate into damaged barrier areas. This not only supports the superficial moisture balance but especially improves the organizational stability of skin lipids.
• Ceramide NP is a central component of the lipid structure that can be specifically integrated into lipid-poor skin areas. It supports restoring barrier density, reduces transepidermal water loss, and helps make the skin more resilient to external stressors.
• Madecassoside is a highly pure active ingredient from Centella asiatica (Indian pennywort), known for its pronounced soothing and regenerative properties. It regulates inflammatory skin processes, visibly reduces redness, and helps calm the skin’s sensory perception (such as burning or stinging).
• Squalane is a light, non-comedogenic, and non-greasy oil that leaves the skin silky soft. Squalane is a natural component of our skin barrier and is therefore very well absorbed by our skin. It protects the skin from moisture loss and prevents oxidation of the skin’s own fats. 

The Skin Barrier Reset Cream is intended for skin that suddenly reacts sensitively: with tightness after cleansing, burning, or stinging with familiar products, diffuse redness, or the feeling of being overcared for and out of balance. Such phases often occur after retinoids, acids, peels, intensive treatments, frequent product changes, travel, or seasonal stress.

This cream is not intended as a permanent daily care but as a targeted break for about 2–6 weeks or until the skin appears more stable again. This approach follows the principle of “zero therapy”. Afterwards, depending on the skin condition, transitioning to NAYA Everyday Day Cream for daily barrier strengthening or to RosēaCalm is recommended if redness tendency and reactivity remain prominent.

Application / Reset Routine

• Apply a hazelnut-sized amount to clean, dry skin morning and evening. Gently work into the face, neck, and décolleté without rubbing.
• Keep the routine as simple as possible during the reset phase: gently cleanse, apply Skin Barrier Reset Cream, and finish with sunscreen in the morning.
• Temporarily pause retinoids, peels, high-dose vitamin C, and strongly active formulations until the skin feels calmer and more stable again.
• Once the skin no longer appears reactive, the routine can be gradually rebuilt.
• For daily care, NAYA Everyday Day Cream is suitable afterward; if redness tendency persists, RosēaCalm may be the more appropriate choice.

• Hydrogenated Phosphatidylcholine (HPC) is a biomimetic lipid active ingredient for structural support and regeneration of the skin barrier, improving lipid organization and skin tolerance, with a high efficacy (barrier repair).
• Ceramide NP is an essential skin lipid for restoring the stratum corneum, reducing transepidermal water loss, and strengthening the skin’s protective function (structural build-up).
• Madecassoside is a highly pure Centella active ingredient with soothing, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant effects; ideal for redness and irritation (soothing).
• Squalane is a skin-identical lipid that supports the natural barrier, improves suppleness, and reduces moisture loss without occlusive heaviness.
• Shea Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii Butter) is a rich emollient with replenishing and protective effects; it reduces tightness and supports dry skin areas (protection & comfort).
