Active Ingredients

• Buriti oil (also called Morete) is extracted from the fruits of the buriti palm (Mauritia vinifera / Mauritia flexuosa), mainly found in Brazil. Buriti oil is characterized by a high concentration of oleic acid, tocopherols (vitamin precursors), provitamin A, and carotenoids, especially a very high amount of beta-carotene (5 times that of carrots). This nourishing oil has strong antioxidant properties, supports cell regeneration, and offers light natural UV protection. The potent anti-aging oil cares for skin and hair and can normalize sebum production.
• Flaxseed oil/extract (Linum Usitatissimum (Flax) Seed Extract) – The high omega-3 content of the oil has anti-inflammatory effects and can suppress outbreaks and soothe irritated, dry skin. The oil binds moisture and keeps skin and hair hydrated and healthy, which can make the skin firmer. It is also attributed with cell-regenerating properties. Very effective for hair care as well.
• Rahua (Ungurahua): Women in the Amazon region have used the oil of this tree nut for centuries to care for and strengthen their hair. It strengthens weak and damaged hair, nourishes and maintains the health of hair follicles and scalp, and its ultra-fine molecules penetrate the color pigmentation deep into the hair shaft, significantly extending color retention. The skin benefits from its generous supply of omega-9 fatty acids, which firm and soothe and restore the scalp’s natural moisture balance. Rahua uses Symbiotic® Ungurahua.
• Kaolin – This natural clay reduces the brassy shine often found in blonde and brown tones.
• Moringa seed oil – The moringa tree is called the “miracle tree” and “tree of life” because of its uses. Moringa oil is nutrient-rich and helps tighten the skin and slow the aging process of skin and hair due to its high antioxidant concentration. Moringa oil has antibacterial properties that can relieve acne inflammation and reduce redness.
• Hydrolyzed quinoa – Known by the ancient Incas as the “mother of all grains,” this gluten-free superfood revitalizes skin and hair. Rich in vitamins and high in amino acids, it inhibits collagen breakdown, supports connective tissue, promotes healing and moisture retention, and reduces signs of fatigue.
• Hibiscus has been called the “botox plant” for its firming and lifting effects on the skin. Hibiscus contains natural AHA, which can accelerate cell renewal, gently exfoliate the skin, and control acne outbreaks. Hibiscus strengthens elasticity, promotes regeneration, and moisturizes skin and hair, and the presence of anthocyanosides helps pores appear smaller due to its astringent properties.
• Aloe Vera Extract/Juice (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract/Juice) provides natural moisture, prevents skin dryness, and strengthens the natural skin barrier. Aloe Vera contains vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and essential amino acids. It supplies oxygen to skin and hair and is considered effective in supporting cell renewal. It binds moisture, has cooling, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial effects.
• Coco-betaine is a natural amino acid derivative obtained from molasses (e.g., sugar beet). Depending on its form, betaine is used in skincare or as a surfactant. In skincare, betaine acts as a conditioner, soothes irritation, and protects against dryness. It has high moisturizing properties. In cleansing products, it stabilizes foam; as an additive in shampoos and conditioners, it strengthens hair, adds volume, and increases hair grip.
