The Rahua Hydration Hair Mask is a concentrated, salon-quality hair mask for dry, moisture-deprived hair. The rich cream formula provides particularly medium-thick to thick lengths with intense moisture, leaving them feeling softer, smoother, and more supple.

Symbiotic® Rahua oil, Morete oil, and Sacha Inchi oil combine with shea butter, mango, passion fruit, and protein-binding sugars to create an intensely nourishing treatment. It helps hair retain moisture more effectively, smooths rough-feeling lengths, and reduces frizz that can be intensified by humidity.

The tropical scent of passion fruit and mango makes application a particularly enjoyable weekly hair-care ritual.

The Hydration Hair Mask combines plant oils from the Amazon with highly moisturizing fruit and sugar extracts. Rahua oil nourishes the hair lengths with omega-9 fatty acids and supports a stronger, shinier hair feel. Shea butter helps retain moisture in the hair and makes dry or brittle-looking lengths appear softer.

Morete oil supplements the formula with carotenoids and vitamins A, C, and E and supports care against sun exposure and other environmental stressors. Sacha Inchi oil provides valuable omega-3 fatty acids that contribute to a supple, flexible-feeling hair texture. The natural sugars from mango help bind nourishing lipids and proteins more effectively to the hair surface.

The result is soft, well-nourished, more easily combable hair with less frizz and natural shine.

Active ingredients

• Buriti oil (also known as Morete oil) is obtained from the fruit of the buriti palm (Mauritia vinifera / Mauritia flexuosa), which is found mainly in Brazil. Buriti oil is characterized by a high concentration of oleic acid, tocopherols (vitamin precursors), provitamin A, and carotenoids, particularly an exceptionally high proportion of beta-carotene (five times that of carrots). This nourishing oil has powerful antioxidant properties, supports cell regeneration, and provides light natural protection against UV rays. This potent anti-aging oil nourishes the skin and hair and may help normalize sebum production.
• Rahua (Ungurahua): For many centuries, women in the Amazon region have used the oil from this tree nut to care for and strengthen their hair. It strengthens weak and damaged hair, nourishes and maintains the health of the hair follicles and scalp, and its superfine molecules penetrate deep into the hair shaft’s color pigmentation, considerably extending color retention. The skin benefits from its generous supply of omega-9 fatty acids, which firm and soothe and restore the scalp’s natural moisture balance. Rahua uses Symbiotic® Ungurahua.
• Hydrolyzed quinoa (Hydrolyzed Quinoa) – Known to the ancient Incas as the “mother of all grains,” this gluten-free superfood revitalizes the skin and hair. Rich in vitamins and amino acids, it inhibits collagen breakdown, supports connective tissue, promotes healing and moisture retention, and reduces signs of fatigue.
• Sunflower oil (Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil) has a high content of linoleic acid, antioxidants, and vitamin E. It supports wound healing, has antibacterial properties, and helps the skin regenerate. The oil combats skin impurities with vitamins A and D. It is readily absorbed and does not clog pores. For hair, it is a natural moisturizer that strengthens the hair, promotes growth, eliminates frizz, and adds shine.
• Sacha Inchi is a rare type of nut cultivated primarily in South America. The fruit is exceptionally rich in omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants, including vitamins A and E. Sacha Inchi helps retain moisture in the skin and hair and soothes inflamed and itchy scalps. Its cell-activating effect provides a natural anti-aging benefit; Sacha Inchi improves skin firmness, softens fine lines, and may reduce pigmentation spots. Rahua uses Symbiotic® Sacha Inchi.
• Shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii (shea) nut butter) is obtained from the fruit of the karité tree. Shea butter has a long tradition as a care and healing product. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, and beta-carotene, the butter protects against environmental stressors, binds moisture, combats free radicals, supports cell regeneration, and leaves skin and hair soft and supple.
• Mango sugar: This juicy tropical fruit exudes an irresistibly exotic fragrance and contains sugars that help bind oil proteins to the hair and maximize moisture.
