Application

Active Ingredients

• Squalane or squalane oil (Squalane) is a lightweight, non-comedogenic, and non-greasy oil that leaves the skin silky soft. Squalane is a natural component of our skin barrier and is therefore very well absorbed by our skin. It protects the skin from moisture loss and prevents oxidation of the skin’s own fats. The regenerating oil helps prevent age spots, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, makes the skin supple, and promotes oxygen supply and cell regeneration. It is mostly derived from olive oil, less commonly from rice bran or wheat germ oil. For cosmetics, squalene is converted into squalane. Squalane no longer contains unsaturated compounds and is therefore oxidation-resistant and longer-lasting.
• Macadamia nut oil (Macadamia Integrifolia (Macadamia) Seed Oil) provides plenty of moisture and especially cares for dry, cracked, and stressed skin. The oil has a skin-smoothing and regenerating effect. The beneficial mix of unsaturated, healthy fatty acids and the high content of vitamins and trace elements have earned the macadamia nut the name “queen of nuts.” The fatty acid profile resembles our skin’s own sebum and is therefore very well absorbed by our skin. The oil is non-comedogenic and absorbs quickly and without residue into the skin.
• Argan oil (Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil) is extracted from the kernels of the argan fruit. The unique argan trees grow only in southwestern Morocco. The antioxidant- and vitamin-rich oil is used in skin and hair care. The high fatty acid content (linoleic acid) supports the build-up and maintenance of the skin barrier. Its anti-inflammatory properties help with problematic skin, and the high vitamin E content protects against free radicals and promotes cell turnover. It provides moisture to the hair, protects against environmental stress, promotes a healthy appearance, and soothes itchy scalp and psoriasis. The non-comedogenic oil also acts as a light, natural heat and UV protector.
• Bakuchiol / Bakuchi seed oil (Bakuchi (Psoralea corylifolia) Seed Oil) is extracted from the seeds and leaves of the Indian plant Psoralea Corylifolia and is considered a natural retinol alternative. A powerful plant for treating skin discolorations, hyperpigmentation, and leukoderma. With antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties, bakuchi promotes the natural skin tone and helps normalize individual skin pigmentation. Bakuchiol has been proven to stimulate collagen production, minimize wrinkles and fine lines, and improve skin texture and firmness. The active ingredient has a long tradition as a medicinal plant in Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Unlike traditional retinoids, it does not cause skin burning, irritation, or redness.
• Coenzyme Q10 (Ubiquinone) is a powerful, small-molecule antioxidant that penetrates deeply into the epidermis. It protects the skin from oxidative stress and has regenerating, skin-building, and anti-inflammatory effects. It inhibits collagen breakdown and reduces skin damage caused by free radicals. The enzyme has been shown to help strengthen the skin and reduce wrinkles and fine lines. The Q10 level decreases with age, making the skin more sensitive to stress.
• Paracress or Jambu (Spilanthes Acmella) is a South American plant rich in spilanthol. As a natural botox (phyto-botox), spilanthol has muscle-relaxing and skin-firming effects even at low concentrations. Small wrinkles can be visibly smoothed and reduced. The active ingredient stimulates the supporting network of the dermis (fibroblasts), thereby providing more firmness and elasticity. Paracress is also used as a skin-strengthening ingredient to protect against external influences.
• Safflower oil (Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Oil) is extracted from the seed capsules of the safflower. Cold-pressed safflower oil has a particularly high linoleic acid content and thus has anti-inflammatory effects, supports balanced sebum production, and combats impurities. Safflower oil can relieve eczema, redness, and itching. In addition, the oil contains vitamins A, E, and K, which are important for skin regeneration and help defend against free radicals.
