Active Ingredients

• Unsaponifiable olive oil (Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil Unsaponifiables) is the residue of olive oil left after saponification of fatty acids. This unsaponifiable fraction contains valuable vitamins and phenols with strong antioxidant properties.
• Squalane or squalane oil (Squalane) is a lightweight, non-comedogenic, and non-greasy oil that leaves the skin silky soft. Squalane is a natural component of our skin barrier and is therefore very well absorbed by our skin. It protects the skin from moisture loss and prevents oxidation of the skin’s own fats. This regenerating oil helps prevent age spots, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, makes the skin supple, and promotes oxygen supply and cell regeneration. It is mostly derived from olive oil, less commonly from rice bran or wheat germ oil. For cosmetics, squalene is converted into squalane. Squalane contains no unsaturated compounds and is therefore oxidation-resistant and longer-lasting.
• Almond oil / sweet almond oil (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis / Sweet Almond Oil) is mild and well suited for caring for sensitive skin. Almond oil has soothing, emollient, and moisture-retaining effects. Dry, irritated, and mature skin benefits especially. Almond oil softens and smooths the skin and is also good for hair care. Vitamins and the high content of unsaturated fatty acids (especially oleic acid) strengthen the barrier function and provide protection.
• Bakuchiol / bakuchi seed oil (Bakuchi (Psoralea corylifolia) Seed Oil) is obtained from the seeds and leaves of the Indian plant Psoralea Corylifolia and is considered a natural retinol alternative. A powerful plant for treating skin discoloration, hyperpigmentation, and leukoderma. With antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties, bakuchi promotes the natural skin tone and helps normalize individual skin pigmentation. Bakuchiol has been shown to stimulate collagen production, minimize wrinkles and lines, and improve skin texture and firmness. The active ingredient has a long tradition as a medicinal plant in Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Unlike traditional retinoids, it does not cause skin burning, irritation, or redness.
• Argan oil (Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil) is extracted from the kernels of the argan fruit. The unique argan trees grow only in southwestern Morocco. The antioxidant- and vitamin-rich oil is used in skin and hair care. The high fatty acid content (linoleic acid) supports the build-up and maintenance of the skin barrier. Its anti-inflammatory properties help with problematic skin, and the high vitamin E content protects against free radicals and promotes cell turnover. It provides moisture to hair, protects against environmental stress, promotes a healthy appearance, and soothes itchy scalp and psoriasis. The non-comedogenic oil also acts as a light, natural heat and UV protector.
• Macadamia nut oil (Macadamia Integrifolia (Macadamia) Seed Oil) provides plenty of moisture and especially cares for dry, cracked, and stressed skin. The oil smooths and regenerates the skin. The beneficial mix of unsaturated, healthy fatty acids and the high content of vitamins and trace elements have earned macadamia the name “queen of nuts.” The fatty acid profile resembles our skin’s own sebum and is therefore very well absorbed. The oil is non-comedogenic and absorbs quickly and without residue.
• Jojoba oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) – The high fatty acid content makes the skin soft, supple, and resilient. The oil has antibacterial effects, absorbs quickly, and contains vitamins B, E, minerals, and beta-carotene (provitamin A). It strengthens cell development and renewal, fights skin aging, and strengthens the skin’s natural protective barrier. Also very suitable for hair and scalp care. By the way, jojoba oil is technically not an oil but a plant wax.
• Pink pepper (Schinus Terebinthifolia (Pink Pepper) Seed Extract) comes from the seeds of the Schinus terebinthifolia tree, which grows in the Amazon rainforest. In cosmetics, this extract is valued for its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and firming properties. It also promotes collagen production in the skin.
• The natural spilanthol found in paracress (Jambú plant) is often called “natural Botox.” It gently relaxes the skin muscles responsible for wrinkle formation, has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, and can also facilitate the absorption of other active ingredients into the skin surface.
• Safflower oil (Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Oil) is extracted from the seed capsules of the safflower plant. Cold-pressed safflower oil has a particularly high linoleic acid content, which makes it anti-inflammatory, supports balanced sebum production, and fights impurities. Safflower oil can soothe eczema, redness, and itching. It also contains vitamins A, E, and K, which are important for skin regeneration and help defend against free radicals.
• Hildegard von Bingen already valued astragalus, originally from Mongolia and northern China. The medically most important species – Astragalus membranaceus – is one of the key plants in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). In Asia, this herbaceous plant has been used for over 4,000 years, mainly to improve life energy, Qi. The root is also credited with positive effects on blood sugar and cholesterol levels and our immune defenses. Astragalus contains important amino acids, fatty acids, and minerals.
• Grape seed oil (Vitis Vinifera Seed Oil) has a high content of linoleic acid and vitamins E and K. It is considered an oil with exceptionally strong antioxidant and cell-protective properties. The oil promotes skin elasticity, has anti-inflammatory properties, and regulates sebum production.
• Avocado oil (Persea gratissima oil / fruit extract) is rich in monounsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, proteins, copper, folic acid, and magnesium – all building blocks for healthy skin and hair. Due to its high phytosterol content, it spreads easily and absorbs quickly. It supports the skin’s moisture balance, protects against dryness, and prevents wrinkles. In hair care, it adds shine, moisturizes dry, brittle, and damaged hair, strengthens it, and repairs damage.
• Hop extract (Humulus Lupulus (Hops) Cone Extract), obtained from the cones of the hop plant, is a valuable ingredient in skin care known for its soothing and antioxidant properties. It helps revitalize the skin by reducing redness and calming irritated skin. Additionally, hop extract supports skin elasticity and can improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, making it an effective anti-aging ingredient.
• Vitamin E / Tocopherol enables long-lasting moisture retention between cells. This powerful antioxidant neutralizes harmful free radicals and can inhibit oil oxidation, preventing blackheads. Vitamin E also promotes cell regeneration and strengthens the skin’s natural protective barrier.
