Citrine Veil is the first fragrance from couture house Galia Lahav—created in collaboration with A.N OTHER and perfumer Steven Claisse. The fragrance conveys the tension that defines the house's couture: dramatic presence meets restraint, radiance meets the finest craftsmanship.
Bergamot, Italian lemon, and mandarin open the fragrance with a clear, juicy freshness. A blackcurrant bud adds a bitter-green nuance and tempers some of the opening's expected pleasantness.

At the heart, Citrine Veil becomes softer. Iris adds a creamy, finely powdery quality without smelling strongly of makeup powder. White jasmine and lily of the valley give the fragrance a bright floral heart. Cedarwood, already present here, prevents it from becoming a lush white-floral fragrance and prepares the transition to the woody base.
Sandalwood, musk, and an accord of sun-warmed skin define the dry-down. Iso E Super and Ambroxan lend the woods a smooth, radiant effect. The fragrance becomes warmer and more sensual while remaining free of vanilla, heavy amber, or pronounced sweetness. What remains is the impression of light woods on warm skin—gentle, yet defined.
Citrine Veil is suited to people who enjoy citrus fragrances but seek more substance than a classic cologne offers. Those who appreciate iris and musk but find many powdery fragrances too dry or nostalgic will also find a lighter interpretation here.

Citrine Veil combines two very different aesthetic worlds: the minimalist fragrance concept of A.N OTHER and the intricately crafted couture of Galia Lahav. For the fashion house's first fragrance creation, A.N OTHER chose not to provide a fixed brief. More than a dozen perfumers were able to develop their own interpretation; Steven Claisse's design was unanimously selected by the Galia Lahav team. With Citrine Veil, Galia Lahav is transferring its signature style—sculptural silhouettes, delicate fabrics, and deliberately placed contrasts—to a fragrance for the first time.
Application
- Spray the fragrance from a distance of approximately 15–20 cm onto warm areas of skin such as the neck, wrists, inner elbows, or behind the ears.
- Do not rub your wrists together after applying the fragrance so that the individual scent phases can develop as true to the original as possible.
- Start with two to three sprays. Lemon, bergamot, and mandarin are initially more prominent, while iris, cedarwood, sandalwood, and musk become more pronounced over time.
- Perfume often lasts longer on well-moisturized skin. For this purpose, it is best to use an unscented body moisturizer.
- Musk, sandalwood, and the light woody notes in particular may remain noticeable on clothing for longer. Test delicate or light-colored fabrics on an inconspicuous area first.
- Store away from heat and direct sunlight.

Is Citrine Veil a classic bridal perfume?
No. Although Citrine Veil was developed as the first fragrance creation by bridal couture house Galia Lahav, it avoids the typical combination of sweet florals and vanilla. The fragrance is more citrusy and woody, and less romantically playful.
Can Citrine Veil also be worn independently of a wedding?
Yes. The combination of citrus fruits, iris, light florals, and woods is suitable for many occasions. Its couture background is part of its story, but it does not limit the fragrance to weddings.
Is Citrine Veil a sweet perfume?
Citrine Veil has a gentle warmth and creaminess, but it is not distinctly sweet. The composition contains no prominent vanilla, tonka bean, or gourmand note. Citrus fruits, cassis buds, and cedarwood keep the fragrance fresh and slightly tart.
What do cassis buds smell like?
Cassis buds smell different from sweet blackcurrant juice. They add a green, tart, and slightly aromatic facet. In Citrine Veil, they create an interesting counterpoint to the juicy citrus freshness.
Is the iris in Citrine Veil very powdery?
Iris has a subtly powdery aspect, but here it comes across as primarily creamy. Citrus notes, lily of the valley, jasmine, and cedarwood prevent Citrine Veil from becoming too dry or resembling a classic makeup-powder fragrance.
Is the jasmine very intense?
White jasmine is part of the floral heart, but it does not develop into a heavy or intoxicatingly sweet white-floral scent. Iris, lily of the valley, and cedarwood keep it brighter and more restrained.
What effect do Iso E Super and Ambroxan have?
Iso E Super has a smooth, dry, woody scent profile and can enhance a composition's diffusion. Ambroxan is warm, woody, and slightly mineral-like. Together, they reinforce the impression of warm skin and light woods in Citrine Veil.
Is Citrine Veil a women's or men's fragrance?
Citrine Veil can be worn as a unisex fragrance. Its citrus, floral, powdery, and woody elements do not follow a distinctly traditional feminine or masculine fragrance structure.
Which season is Citrine Veil suitable for?
The bright citrus opening is particularly well suited to spring and summer. However, iris, sandalwood, musk, and Ambroxan give the fragrance enough warmth for mild autumn days and evenings.
Can I test Citrine Veil before purchasing?
Yes. In addition to the 50 ml bottle, a 1.2 ml sample is available. A skin test is recommended, as Iso E Super, Ambroxan, and musk may be perceived differently by each person.
