Active Ingredients

• Elephant’s Head (Pedicularis) – this plant is recognized by modern herbalists as a mild sedative and muscle relaxant. Historically, it was used to treat stomach ulcers, rheumatism, and urinary problems. The Ojibwa Indians considered it an aphrodisiac. Depending on the type of pain, Pedicularis can be well combined with other plants, e.g., with black cohosh (excellent for menstrual discomfort), with arnica for muscle cramps, or with turmeric for deep-seated inflammation.
• Wild Dagga (Leonotis leonurus) has a long tradition in folk medicine. Wild Dagga is said to have strong anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving, antioxidant, and antispasmodic effects. The name wild dagga refers to the indigenous South African tribal name for cannabis dagga, but no part of the plant is hallucinogenic. Although the herb is traditionally smoked for its euphoric and calming effects, the tea or extract can be very helpful as a remedy for anxiety and as a relaxant.
• The Blue Lotus (Nymphaea caerulea) is a water lily that was already revered in ancient Egypt. Back then, this plant was used in spiritual rituals due to its euphoric and aphrodisiac properties. Today, Blue Lotus is still used worldwide. While Blue Lotus can release energy, the flower also helps relax the nervous system as well as body and mind. The plant is also said to have a positive effect on digestive problems and to improve sensory and emotional perception.
• St. John’s Wort (Hypericum Perforatum Extract) has calming, healing, and antiseptic properties. It is very well tolerated, promotes regeneration of the upper skin layer, and refines the skin’s appearance. It has long been valued for its mood-enhancing and balancing effects. Also good for hair care. St. John’s Wort can regulate sebum production, making hair less greasy faster.
