Active ingredients

• Aloe vera extract / juice (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract / Juice) provides natural moisture, prevents the skin from drying out, and strengthens the skin’s natural barrier. Aloe vera contains vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and essential amino acids. It supplies the skin with oxygen and is considered effective in supporting cell renewal. It binds moisture, has a cooling, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial effect.
• Jojoba oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) – Its high fatty acid content makes the skin soft, supple, and resilient. The oil has an antibacterial effect, absorbs quickly, and contains vitamins B and E, minerals, and beta-carotene (provitamin A). It supports cell development and renewal, helps counter skin aging, and strengthens the skin’s natural protective barrier. It is also very suitable for hair and scalp care. Incidentally, strictly speaking, jojoba oil is not an oil but a plant wax.
• Hyaluronic acid (Hyaluronic Acid / Sodium Hyaluronate) stores up to 1,000 times its weight in moisture. Hyaluronic acid is a major component of connective tissue; it fills and supports connective tissue. Due to its ability to bind large amounts of water, it contributes to the skin’s moisture content. Hyaluronic acid also promotes skin firmness and elasticity. As we age, we lose our natural hyaluronic acid, which is one of the main causes of wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid helps fill fine lines and plump the skin.
• Sodium PCA (also called sodium PCA) is the salt of pyrrolidone carboxylic acid, which is usually obtained from the amino acid L-glutamic acid derived from sugar cane. This ingredient is hygroscopic, meaning it attracts water and retains it in the skin cells. In this way, the skin remains moisturized and supple and is protected from drying out. Together with other natural moisturizing factors such as amino acids, uric acid, and lactic acid, PCA forms the skin’s natural moisturizing factor (NMF). Irritation-free, non-comedogenic, and well tolerated, Sodium PCA is used in skin and hair care products.
• Glycerin – This sugar alcohol is part of the body’s natural moisturizing system. Lipids (fats) in the skin are made up of glycerin and fatty acids, have a moisturizing effect, and help prevent water loss. Glycerin also has a stabilizing effect on the skin’s barrier function.
• Coco-Caprylate/Caprate is a mixture of esters of coconut fatty alcohol. This natural alternative to silicone is well absorbed by the skin, strengthens the skin’s protective barrier, and prevents water loss, keeping the skin soft and supple. This emollient is also used as a makeup remover because it effectively dissolves decorative cosmetics.
• Vitamin E / Tocopherol enables long-lasting moisture retention between cells. This powerful antioxidant neutralizes harmful free radicals and can inhibit the oxidation of oil, helping prevent blackheads. Vitamin E also promotes cell regeneration and strengthens the natural function of the skin’s protective barrier.
