The Everything Oil by The Glow is a lightweight facial oil for daily care and thorough oil cleansing. The balanced blend of plant oils and squalane complements the skin’s natural lipids, protects against moisture loss and leaves skin soft and supple without a heavy, greasy film.

The silky texture spreads particularly well over still slightly damp skin. This helps the oil retain the moisture previously applied and smooth dry or rough areas. As a cleansing oil, it dissolves makeup, sunscreen, sebum and other oil-soluble residue.

Everything Oil is suitable for normal, dry, dehydrated and stressed skin, as well as combination skin. For oily or blemish-prone skin, just a few drops are usually enough. Lavender and mandarin peel oils give the facial oil a subtle, warm-fresh scent.

Application

• As a facial moisturizer:
  After cleansing, apply three to four drops to the still slightly damp skin of the face, neck and décolleté. Gently massage in or press in with the palms of your hands.
• In combination with Floral Essence:
  Apply Floral Essence to cleansed skin first. Then massage in Everything Oil. For an especially light, lotion-like texture, the two products can also be mixed directly in the palm of your hand.
• As a cleansing oil:
  Apply a small amount to dry, uncleaned skin and massage in thoroughly. Makeup, sunscreen, and sebum dissolve in the oil. Then gently remove with a soft cleansing cloth moistened with warm water. If needed, cleanse again with a mild second cleanser.
• For body and hair:
  Apply to damp body skin or directly to dry areas. A very small amount can also be worked into dry hair ends.

Active ingredients

• Jojoba oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) – Its high fatty acid content makes the skin soft, supple, and resilient. The oil has an antibacterial effect, absorbs quickly, and contains vitamins B and E, minerals, and beta-carotene (provitamin A). It supports cell development and renewal, counteracts skin aging, and strengthens the skin’s natural protective barrier. It is also highly suitable for hair and scalp care. Incidentally, strictly speaking, jojoba oil is not an oil but a plant wax.
• Sunflower oil (Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil) has a high content of linoleic acid, antioxidants, and vitamin E. It supports wound healing, has an antibacterial effect, and helps the skin regenerate. The oil combats blemishes with vitamins A and D. It is readily absorbed and does not clog pores. For hair, it is a natural moisturizer that strengthens the hair, promotes growth, eliminates frizz, and adds shine.
• Apricot kernel oil (Prunus Armeniaca kernel/seed oil) preserves the skin’s natural protective layer, revitalizes it, and strengthens its elasticity. It absorbs quickly, soothes stressed skin, and leaves it feeling velvety soft. Apricot kernel oil has a high content of oleic acid and linoleic acid, making the complexion appear more refined and well moisturized.
• Hemp seed oil (Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil) is rich in the essential fatty acids omega-6 and omega-3. Hemp oil supports the skin’s natural protective barrier, which prevents bacteria and environmental toxins from penetrating. The skin remains healthy and soft, is optimally moisturized, and looks beautifully smooth. Hemp oil can also help with skin conditions such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and itchy or reddened skin. This is due to the anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and antimicrobial effects of, for example, stearic acid. It soothes sensitive and irritated skin, helps spots and minor wounds heal faster, prevents scarring, and helps prevent skin conditions. Gamma-linolenic acid binds water, creating a plumping effect. The skin looks fuller and fine lines can be reduced.
• Grapeseed oil (Vitis Vinifera Seed Oil) has a high content of linoleic acid and vitamins E and K. It is considered an oil with exceptionally strong antioxidant and cell-protective properties. The oil promotes skin elasticity, has anti-inflammatory properties, and helps regulate sebum production.
• Rosehip seed oil or wild rose oil (Rosa Canina Fruit Oil) is obtained from the fruit of the dog rose and is considered a highly effective plant oil for skincare. The oil is rich in provitamin A, vitamins C and E, minerals, carotenoids, and polyunsaturated fatty acids. Wild rose oil combats free radicals, promotes skin cell renewal, and helps even out the skin tone. The oil promotes collagen production, is well tolerated, and is highly suitable for dry, flaky skin, hyperpigmentation, and scars. Blemish-prone skin also benefits from its high content of anti-inflammatory linoleic and linolenic acids.
• Essential lavender oil (Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender) oil) has calming, cleansing, and antiseptic properties. This gentle oil consists of linalyl acetate and linalool and has a stimulating effect on cell growth. Which skin type is Everything Oil suitable for?

Can Everything Oil also be used on oily skin?
Yes. It can be particularly useful as a cleansing oil for oily or blemish-prone skin, as oil dissolves oil-soluble residues and excess sebum. As a leave-on treatment, a few drops are usually enough.

Does a facial oil moisturize?
Everything Oil contains no water and therefore does not moisturize the skin in the strict sense. However, it helps preserve moisture already present in or previously applied to the skin. It is therefore best applied to skin that is still slightly damp or after Floral Essence.

How many drops do I need for my face?
As a rule, three to four drops are enough for the face, neck, and décolleté. Too much oil may remain on the skin longer and leave an unnecessarily greasy feeling.

Can Everything Oil remove makeup and sunscreen?
Yes. The plant oils dissolve makeup, sunscreen, sebum, and other oil-soluble residues. The oil is then thoroughly removed with a warm, damp cleansing cloth.

Is a second cleanser necessary after oil cleansing?
Not always. For light soiling or dry skin, oil cleansing alone may be sufficient. With heavy makeup, water-resistant sunscreen, or blemish-prone skin, a gentle second cleanse may then be advisable.

Can Everything Oil clog pores?
Whether a skincare oil contributes to blemishes depends on the individual skin and the amount used. The formula contains predominantly lightweight oils, but a completely non-comedogenic effect cannot be guaranteed. If your skin is prone to blemishes, you should first test a small amount.

Is Everything Oil suitable for sensitive skin?
The Glow also recommends the oil for sensitive skin. However, the formula contains lavender and mandarin peel oil, as well as limonene, linalool, and geraniol. Very reactive or fragrance-sensitive skin should therefore first test compatibility on a small area.

Can the oil be used for the body and hair?
