Combination Skin: The Right Care Is Crucial

    Filter

Moist and oily skin areas alternate with normal and dry regions. Usually, the T-zone, i.e., forehead, nose, and chin, is oily and shiny. This area tends to have more impurities. The skin on the cheeks, on the other hand, is normal or dry and may feel slightly tight.

Because of the mixed skin type, the skin requires differentiated care. Dry areas should be moisturized, and oily areas need to be clarified and thoroughly cleansed. It’s best to wash the face with a gentle cleansing gel or foam and lukewarm water. Then treat the oily facial areas with a clarifying toner. Additionally, use a facial scrub regularly. For daily care, use a moisturizing product that is not too rich in oils. If the differences between skin areas are pronounced, a richer care product can also be applied to the dry areas.
