The Flower Acid Cleanser is a mild, lightly foaming cleansing gel that not only removes dirt and residue from the skin but also gently smooths it. Hibiscus, Australian wild limes, and lactic acid provide natural fruit and plant acids that help loosen dead skin cells and make a dull, uneven complexion look fresher again.

The formula remains unusually gentle. Pentavitin® (Saccharide Isomerate), glycerin, and rose and lavender hydrosols support the moisture balance and help the skin feel clean and smooth after cleansing, without feeling dry or tight.

• Australian wild lime complex – Extracts of caviar lime, desert lime, and rainforest lime provide natural organic acids and antioxidant plant compounds. They complement the exfoliating effect and help support a refined, more even, and visibly revitalized complexion.
• Pentavitin® (Saccharide Isomerate) – a plant-derived humectant that binds water at the skin's surface and supports the moisture balance. Especially for dry or sensitive skin, it helps prevent feelings of tightness after cleansing and keeps the skin supple.
• Rose & lavender hydrosols – make up a large part of the aqueous base and have a soothing effect on dry and sensitive skin. They help support a balanced skin feel, provide additional moisture, and give the cleanser its delicate, natural floral fragrance—entirely without essential oils.
  

The Flower Acid Cleanser is therefore particularly recommended for skin that needs both thorough cleansing and a little more refinement—for example, in the case of a dull complexion, rough skin texture, or an uneven complexion. Dry and more sensitive skin can also use it, provided fruit acids are well tolerated.

Usage

• Apply one pump to damp skin and gently massage over the face, neck, and décolleté.
• Then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
• Can be used in the morning and/or evening.
• For more intensive exfoliation, apply to dry skin once a week, leave on for around five minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
• As part of a double-cleansing routine after Neroli Cleansing Oil use.
• For very sensitive skin, or if other acids or exfoliants are already being used, start with a few applications per week.

Active ingredients

• Rose distillate (Rosa Damascena (Rosa) Flower Water), also known as rose blossom water or rose hydrosol, is obtained from rose blossoms and has soothing, astringent, and cleansing properties. It stimulates blood circulation in the fine capillaries and helps minimize the appearance of scars, micro-wounds, sunburn, and wrinkles. It has a natural, delicate rose aroma.
• Lavender water/hydrosol (Lavandula Angustifolia Flower Water) nourishes and tones the skin, has a soothing and balancing effect, and relieves skin irritation, redness, and itching. A gentle treatment that is also beneficial for dry, allergic, and sensitive skin. Lavender has antibacterial and clarifying properties, which particularly benefit oily and blemish-prone skin types. Lavender can help restore the skin’s pH balance. The scent of pure lavender water is herbal to floral and somewhat earthy, less feminine than the scent of lavender oil.
• Hibiscus (Hibiscus Rosa-Sinensis Flower Powder / Hibiscus Sabdariffa Flower Extract) has also been called the “Botox plant” because of its firming and lifting properties for the skin. Hibiscus contains natural AHA, which can accelerate cell renewal, gently exfoliate the skin, and control acne breakouts. Hibiscus strengthens elasticity, promotes regeneration, and moisturizes the skin and hair. The presence of anthocyanosides helps pores appear smaller due to its astringent properties.
• Lime (Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime) Fruit Extract) is considered antiseptic, antibacterial, and antiviral in skincare and has a disinfecting effect. Lime is an effective antioxidant with a high vitamin C and E content. It stimulates circulation, supports skin renewal, and can help with uneven skin tone and pigmentation.
• Lactic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid that gently exfoliates and can reduce hyperpigmentation and age spots. It also has the ability to minimize large pores and revive a dull, uneven complexion.
• Salicylic acid (Salicylic Acid) – A nature-identical organic acid with antimicrobial and keratolytic properties. It removes dead cells, supports cell renewal, and inhibits sebum secretion. An ingredient for oily skin prone to breakouts, blackheads, or acne. It occurs naturally, for example, in willow bark and meadowsweet.

Which skin type is the Flower Acid Cleanser suitable for?
The cleanser is designed for all skin types. It is particularly interesting for dull, rough, or uneven-looking skin, as well as for anyone who wants a very gentle exfoliating effect even during cleansing. Dry and more sensitive skin can also use it, provided acids are well tolerated.

Can I use the Flower Acid Cleanser daily?
Yes. Wildcrafted Organics developed it as a daily cleanser for morning and evening. However, if you have very sensitive skin or already use acids, retinoids, or other exfoliants, we recommend starting with a few applications per week.

Is the Flower Acid Cleanser an exfoliant?
It is primarily a cleansing gel, but hibiscus, Australian finger limes, and lactic acid also give it a gentle exfoliating effect. For more intensive use, it can be left on dry skin once a week for about five minutes like a mask.

Can I use it for double cleansing?
Yes. In the evening, it is very well suited as a second cleansing step after a cleansing oil. Wildcrafted Organics recommends combining it with the Neroli Cleansing Oil.

Does the cleanser contain essential oils?
No. The delicate floral scent comes from rose and lavender hydrosols. No essential rose or lavender oil is included.

Can I use the Flower Acid Cleanser on sensitive skin?
The manufacturer explicitly developed and recommends it for sensitive skin as well. However, as the formula contains exfoliating acids, individual tolerance may vary. For very reactive or already irritated skin, test cautiously at first and do not combine it with several intensive exfoliants at the same time.
