The Moonbeam Retinol Treatment Serum from Holifrog is a powerful, deeply effective retinol serum. It is based on a combination of 2.5% encapsulated retinaldehyde, chasteberry to strengthen skin firmness, crocus root extract supporting collagen and elastin, and moisturizing and binding phospholipids and marula oil.

• Suitable for all skin types, pH value 4.5-5.5

This anti-aging serum helps reduce signs of premature skin aging and general dullness while promoting skin radiance. The gel-oil base forms a moisturizing and nourishing foundation to support the release of active ingredients and prevent irritation and dryness – for plump, firm, and radiant skin.

Usage

• Start gently with this treatment. Retinol beginners should use the product only twice a week at night and gradually increase frequency as your skin tolerates it.
• During the first use of this product, slight redness, peeling, or irritation may occur.
• Apply a thin layer to the skin after cleansing and toning. Follow with the Grand Amino Cushion Cream to seal in moisture.
• Always use daily sun protection.

Active Ingredients

• Aloe Vera Juice (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice) – contains vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and essential amino acids. Supplies oxygen to the skin and is considered effective in supporting cell renewal. Binds moisture, has cooling, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial effects.
  
• Chasteberry (Vitex Agnus-Castus Fruit Extract) is known for its proven antimicrobial properties. The plant is also commonly used for impure skin or acne. Additionally, its high content of free fatty acids, linoleic acid, and artemetin can contribute to improving skin appearance.
• Honeysuckle Extract (Lonicera japonica flower extract) is traditionally used in Japan and East Asia to care for inflamed or stressed skin. Honeysuckle has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties and is also considered a powerful antioxidant. It acts toning, healing, and protects against damage from free radicals.
• Marula Oil (Sclerocarya Birrea (Marula) seed/kernel oil) is quickly absorbed by the skin, has emollient and moisture-binding properties, and contains valuable nutrients such as vitamin E (tocopherol) and vitamin C as well as essential fatty acids. The fatty acid mix combined with the high antioxidant content makes it an excellent beauty oil. It offers light protection against UV rays and gives the skin a smooth appearance.

• Squalane (Squalane) is a lightweight, non-comedogenic, and non-greasy oil that leaves skin silky soft. Squalane is a natural component of our skin barrier and is therefore very well absorbed by our skin. It protects the skin from moisture loss and prevents oxidation of the skin’s own fats. This regenerating oil helps prevent age spots, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, makes the skin supple, and promotes oxygen supply and cell regeneration. It is mostly derived from olive oil, less commonly from rice bran or wheat germ oil.
• Oat Extract (Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract) has moisturizing, soothing, and anti-inflammatory properties. Acts as a natural skin cleanser, removes dirt and impurities, reduces pores, improves tone, and smooths skin texture.
• Phospholipids: These skin-identical lipids are highly moisturizing without being occlusive, attract water from the surrounding air, and store it where it is needed – in your skin.
• Apricot Kernel Oil (Prunus Armeniaca kernel/seed oil) preserves the skin’s natural protective barrier, revitalizes, and strengthens elasticity. It absorbs quickly, soothes stressed skin, and leaves a velvety skin feel. Apricot kernel oil has a high content of oleic and linoleic acids and makes the skin appear finer and well hydrated.
