Active Ingredients

• Kakadu Plum (Terminalia ferdinandiana fruit extract), also called bush plum, is the richest natural source of vitamin C with 2,300 to 3,150 milligrams per 100g of fruit pulp. It also contains vitamin E and ferulic acid, making it very rich in antioxidants. The ingredient is also involved in the production of the amino acid proline, which in turn produces skin-firming collagen. Thanks to its antimicrobial properties, it even inhibits and soothes inflammation and redness.
• Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) – supports the synthesis of lipids and ceramides essential for the skin’s barrier function. It improves skin texture and evens out uneven skin tone. The vitamins also help with hyperpigmentation and redness. Niacinamide can regulate sebum production and reduce overproduction. This makes pores appear smaller and less “stretched.” Due to its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, niacinamide can also positively influence inflammation and moderate acne.
• Shea Butter (Butyrospermum parkii (shea) nut butter) is derived from the fruits of the shea tree. Shea butter has a long tradition as a care and healing agent. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, and beta-carotene, the butter protects against environmental stress, binds moisture, fights free radicals, promotes cell regeneration, and makes skin and hair soft and supple.
• Safflower Oil (Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Oil) is extracted from the seed capsules of the dyer’s or safflower plant. Cold-pressed safflower oil has a particularly high linoleic acid content, which has anti-inflammatory effects, supports balanced sebum production, and fights impurities. Safflower oil can relieve eczema, redness, and itching. The oil also contains vitamins A, E, and K, which are important for skin regeneration and help defend against free radicals.
• Castor Oil (Ricinus communis seed oil) consists largely of ricinoleic acid, which has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. The oil fights impurities, moisturizes, improves scar texture, and smooths the skin. Its high vitamin E content also helps combat free radicals and premature skin aging.
• Hyaluronic Acid (Hyaluronic Acid / Sodium Hyaluronate) stores moisture up to 1000 times its weight. Hyaluronic acid is a main component of connective tissue, filling and supporting it. Due to its ability to bind large amounts of water, it is responsible for the skin’s moisture content. Hyaluronic acid also promotes skin firmness and elasticity. As we age, we lose our natural hyaluronic acid, which is one of the main causes of wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid helps fill in fine lines and plump the skin.
• Quinoa – known by the ancient Incas as the “mother of all grains,” this gluten-free superfood revitalizes skin and hair. Rich in vitamins and high in amino acids, it inhibits collagen breakdown, supports connective tissue, promotes healing and moisture retention, and reduces signs of fatigue.
• Peptides are small proteins made up of several amino acids. There are many different peptides that perform various functions in the body. They are involved in regulating cell growth and repair and the formation of (larger) proteins like keratin, elastin, or collagen. This makes them a valuable and well-tolerated ingredient in skincare to combat premature aging, fine lines, and sagging structures. Some peptides also have anti-inflammatory properties and help reduce impurities like pimples and blackheads.
