Scent: Neroli & Basil
Neroli & Basil smells of fresh air, green herbs, and bright citrus freshness. The top note of neroli and Italian bergamot is clear, sparkling, and elegant. In the heart note, basil, tuberose, and French lavender give the fragrance a green, aromatic depth with gentle floral warmth. The base note of cypress, eucalyptus, and shiso leaf remains fresh, subtly herbaceous, and calm on the skin.

Active Ingredients

• Squalane or squalane oil (Squalane) is a lightweight, non-comedogenic, non-greasy oil that leaves skin silky soft. Squalane is a natural component of our skin barrier and is therefore very well absorbed by the skin. It protects the skin from moisture loss and prevents the oxidation of the skin's natural fats. This regenerating oil helps prevent age spots, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, softens the skin, and supports oxygen supply and cell regeneration. At Salt & Stone, it is derived from sustainably sourced plant-based sugarcane.
• Hyaluronic acid (Hyaluronic Acid / Sodium Hyaluronate) retains up to 1,000 times its weight in moisture. Topical hyaluronic acid forms a thin, viscoelastic surface film that locks moisture onto the skin's surface and helps smooth the skin and increase elasticity. As we age, we lose our natural hyaluronic acid, which is one of the main causes of wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid helps fill in fine lines and wrinkles and plump the skin.
• Algae extract contains a high concentration of antioxidants, trace elements such as iodine, zinc, potassium, and beta-carotene, and bioactive compounds such as alginic acid, ascorbic acid, and carotenoids. These bioactive components support cell renewal and promote clear, smooth, soft skin. Antioxidants help combat damage caused by free radicals, while the amino acids, vitamins, and minerals contained in seaweed stimulate elastin and collagen production.
• Aloe vera extract / juice (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract / Juice) provides natural moisture, helps prevent the skin from drying out, and strengthens the natural skin barrier. Aloe vera contains vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and essential amino acids. It supplies the skin with oxygen and is considered effective in supporting cell renewal. It binds moisture and has cooling, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties.
• Silver ear mushroom (Tremella Fuciformis (Snow Mushroom) Extract) acts like a plant-based form of hyaluronic acid and is therefore also called botanical hyaluronic acid. Silver ear mushroom extract is very similar to hyaluronic acid in its chemical structure and has equally strong moisturizing and moisture-binding properties.
• Glycerin – This sugar alcohol is part of the body's natural moisturizing system. Lipids (fats) in the skin are made up of glycerin and fatty acids. Glycerin has a hydrating effect and helps prevent water loss. It also stabilizes the skin's barrier function.
• Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) – supports the synthesis of lipids and ceramides, which are essential for the skin barrier function. It improves skin texture and evens out an uneven skin tone. The vitamin also helps with hyperpigmentation and skin redness. Niacinamide can regulate sebum production and reduce overproduction. As a result, pores appear smaller and less “stretched.” Due to its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, niacinamide can also positively affect inflammation and moderate acne.
• Betaine (Betaine, Betain, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Trimethylglycine, Glycine Betaine) is a natural amino acid derivative obtained from sugar molasses (e.g., sugar beet). Depending on its form, betaine is used in skincare or as a surfactant. In skincare, betaine has a conditioning effect, soothes irritation, and protects against dryness. It has highly moisturizing properties. In cleansing products, it stabilizes foam; as an ingredient in shampoos and hair conditioners, it strengthens hair, adds volume, and improves hair manageability.
