Barrier Restoring Rich Cream is the ideal care for a stressed skin barrier and provides immediate relief for particularly dry and irritated skin. Ideal for irritation, dryness, and a compromised skin barrier function.

• Edelweiss has a soothing and anti-inflammatory effect; bioavailable phyto-chemicals such as chlorogenic acid, luteolin, bisabolol derivatives, and beta-sitosterol have antiseptic and antioxidant properties.
• Rice bran wax forms a protective film on the skin that retains moisture and protects the skin from harmful environmental influences, leaving the skin soft and supple.
• Ceramides are an important component of the epidermis, especially the upper cell layers. They play a crucial role in the skin barrier and skin hydration. Ceramides form a kind of "waterproof" protective layer and ensure that our skin remains beautiful and hydrated.
• Calendula extract is rich in flavonoids, which give the plant anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Also known for its soothing and healing-promoting effects.
• Rosehip oil has a high content of alpha-linolenic acid and trans-retinoic acid, a precursor of vitamin A, which supports collagen formation. Due to its valued effect on skin regeneration, it is especially used for dry, flaky skin.
• Rose oil from the flowers of the Damask rose acts antiseptically, anti-inflammatory, promotes circulation, and supports cell regeneration. An anti-aging ingredient that smooths the skin.

Active Ingredients

• Ceramides are lipids (fats) naturally found in our skin. They form the basis for the barrier function of our skin. The skin barrier ensures that no harmful substances penetrate the skin and that the skin remains well hydrated. A functioning skin barrier is essential for healthy skin. Ceramides reduce water loss from the skin, also called TEWL (Trans Epidermal Water Loss), protect against environmental stressors, bacteria, and other influences the skin is exposed to. Ceramides are thus an effective anti-aging ingredient that also helps keep the skin soft and smooth.
• Rice bran wax is a plant-based wax obtained from rice bran. It is a solid, white substance with a high melting point. It forms a protective film on the skin, which retains moisture and protects the skin from harmful environmental influences, leaving the skin soft and supple.
• Edelweiss (Leontopodium Alpinum (Edelweiss) Extract) is a soothing, anti-inflammatory plant that offers UV protection. Bioavailable phyto-chemicals such as chlorogenic acid, luteolin, bisabolol derivatives, and beta-sitosterol have antiseptic and antioxidant properties.
• Rosehip seed oil or wild rose oil (Rosa Canina Fruit Oil) is extracted from the fruits of the wild rose and is considered a very effective plant oil for skincare. The oil is rich in provitamin A, vitamins C and E, minerals, carotenoids, and polyunsaturated fatty acids. Wild rose oil fights free radicals, promotes skin cell renewal, and balances skin tone. The oil supports collagen production, is well tolerated, and is very suitable for dry, flaky skin, pigmentation spots, and scars. Even impure skin benefits from the high content of anti-inflammatory linoleic and linolenic acids.
• The essential rose oil (Rosa Damascena Flower Oil) from the flowers of the Damask rose acts antiseptically, anti-inflammatory, promotes circulation, and supports cell regeneration. An anti-aging ingredient that smooths the skin.
• Jojoba oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) – The high content of fatty acids makes the skin soft, supple, and resilient. The oil has antibacterial properties, absorbs quickly, and contains vitamins B, E, minerals, and beta-carotene (provitamin A). It strengthens cell development and renewal, fights skin aging, and strengthens the skin’s natural protective barrier. Also very suitable for hair and scalp care. By the way, jojoba oil is technically not an oil but a plant wax.
• Calendula / Calendula (Calendula Officinalis Flower Oil / Extract) from the Asteraceae family is especially known for its anti-inflammatory, soothing, and wound-healing effects. It also promotes collagen formation and helps produce new tissue (an important process in wound healing), and carotenoids strengthen the skin’s protective barrier. Very well tolerated, also suitable for baby skin. Secondary plant substances, the so-called flavonoids, act as antioxidants and protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals.
• Rosemary extract (Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Extract) – The medicinal plant from the Mediterranean region promotes circulation and has mild antibacterial effects. Mature skin benefits from the circulation-promoting effect. Impure skin can be balanced again by rosemary. In hair care, rosemary stimulates scalp circulation and thus improves nutrient absorption. It promotes hair growth and regulates sebum production.
• Vitamin E / Tocopherol enables long-lasting moisture retention between cells. This powerful antioxidant neutralizes harmful free radicals and can inhibit oil oxidation, thereby preventing blackheads. Vitamin E also promotes cell regeneration and strengthens the natural function of the skin’s protective barrier.
