Fruit Acid Peel

The Fruit Acid Peel by TEAM DR JOSEPH is a bioactive fruit acid peel for dull, mature, blemished and pigmentation-prone skin. A combination of tartaric acid, citric acid, lactic acid and plant-based fruit extracts loosens dead skin cells, supports natural cell renewal and makes the complexion visibly smoother and more even.

Used regularly, the peel helps to improve fine lines, pigmentation spots, keratinization and clogged pores. At the same time, hyaluronic acid, aloe vera, sodium PCA and glycerin support the skin’s moisture balance, while niacinamide, vitamin E and antioxidant plant extracts complement the skincare benefits.

Application

• On Face, neck, and décolleté apply.
• Leave on for 6–8 minutes and then remove thoroughly with lukewarm water or a warm, damp cloth.
• Recommended application: 1–2 times per month.

Active ingredients

• After application to the skin, hydrolyzed rice proteins (Hydrolyzed Rice Protein) penetrate the upper layers of the skin and support the structure and repair of the skin barrier. They help firm and tighten the skin, making it appear healthier and smoother. The amino acids strengthen the skin's resilience, improve moisture retention, and thereby promote a smoother, more radiant complexion. Hydrolyzed proteins are broken down into smaller peptides through the hydrolysis process, allowing the skin to absorb them more easily.
• Apple leaf extract (Pyrus Malus (Apple) Leaf Extract) is rich in antioxidants that protect the skin from harmful environmental influences and counteract premature skin aging. Thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties, it can reduce redness and soothe the skin. It also contains fruit acids, especially alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), which promote gentle exfoliation, improve the skin's texture, and ensure an even complexion. The extract supports regeneration and gives the skin a fresh, revitalized appearance.
• Tartaric acid (Tartaric Acid), an AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) derived from grapes, firms and moisturizes the skin. It promotes wound healing and improves skin elasticity while providing ample moisture. Tartaric acid also helps reduce hyperkeratinization, lighten age spots, and create a smoother, more even complexion.
• Hydrolyzed wheat bran (Hydrolyzed Wheat Bran) is obtained through the hydrolysis of the outer layer of the wheat grain. It has a soothing and nourishing effect on the skin by strengthening its natural barrier and helping it retain moisture. The fiber, vitamins, and minerals it contains promote skin regeneration and support healing. Hydrolyzed wheat bran also has anti-inflammatory properties that can help soothe redness and irritation.
• Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) supports the synthesis of lipids and ceramides, which are essential for the skin’s barrier function. It improves skin texture and evens out an uneven skin tone. These vitamins also help with hyperpigmentation and skin redness. Niacinamide can regulate sebum production and reduce overproduction. As a result, pores appear smaller and less “stretched.” Thanks to its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, niacinamide can also help improve inflammation and moderate acne.
• Vitamin E / Tocopherol enables long-lasting moisture retention between cells. This powerful antioxidant neutralizes harmful free radicals and can inhibit oil oxidation, thereby helping prevent blackheads. Vitamin E also promotes cell regeneration and strengthens the skin’s natural protective barrier function.
• Hyaluronic acid (Hyaluronic Acid / Sodium Hyaluronate) stores up to 1,000 times its weight in moisture. Hyaluronic acid is a major component of connective tissue, filling and supporting it. By binding large amounts of water, it helps maintain the skin’s moisture content. Hyaluronic acid also promotes skin firmness and elasticity. As we age, we lose our natural hyaluronic acid, which is one of the main causes of wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid helps fill fine lines and plump the skin.
  
• Urea, a natural component of the skin's moisture balance, binds water and promotes the absorption of hydrating ingredients. In higher concentrations, it helps regulate keratinization, making it particularly valuable for blemish-prone and oily skin.
• Lactic acid (Lactid Acid) is an alpha hydroxy acid that gently exfoliates and can reduce hyperpigmentation and age spots. It also has the ability to minimize large pores and revitalize a dull, uneven complexion.

How strong is the Fruit Acid Peel?
