The Daily Purifying Cream from TEAM DR JOSEPH is a light, purifying treatment for combination, oily, enlarged-pore and blemish-prone skin. It helps reduce excess shine, combat clogged pores and visibly create a more balanced-looking complexion – without drying out the skin.

Zinc PCA, Sodium usnate, Rhodomyrtus and tea tree oil support the sebum-regulating and purifying effect. At the same time, aloe vera, Sodium PCA and jojoba, avocado and olive oils provide the skin with hydration and nourishing lipids. The light, non-greasy texture leaves a fresh, matte skin feel without tightness.

• Zinc PCA & Sodium usnate – Zinc PCA helps balance excess sebum production and supports a clearer, less shiny complexion. Sodium usnate, a salt of usnic acid known from beard lichens, complements the formula with antimicrobial properties and is especially helpful for blemish-prone skin.
• Rose myrtle (Rhodomyrtus) & tea tree oil – Rhodomyrtus tomentosa is used in purifying skincare to help restore balance to blemished and oily skin. Tea tree oil supports the formula with its cleansing and antimicrobial properties and is especially suitable for pimples and clogged pores.
• Aloe vera, Sodium PCA & calendula – Hydrate and help keep the skin pleasantly balanced despite the purifying focus. Aloe vera and calendula also have a soothing effect and are a good addition when blemish-prone skin is also prone to irritation.
• Avocado, jojoba & olive oil – The selected plant lipids nourish without making the cream feel heavy. They support softness and the skin barrier, helping the skin feel neither dry nor tight after application.

Directions for use

• Apply morning and evening to the cleansed and toned face apply.
• Gently apply to the face, neck, and décolleté if needed.

Active ingredients

• Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) – Its high fatty acid content leaves the skin soft, smooth, and resilient. The oil has antibacterial properties, absorbs quickly, and contains vitamins B and E, minerals, and beta-carotene (provitamin A). It supports cell development and renewal, helps combat skin aging, and strengthens the skin’s natural protective barrier. Also highly suitable for hair and scalp care. Incidentally, strictly speaking, jojoba oil is not an oil but a plant wax.
• False Myrtle (Rhodomyrtus Tomentosa Fruit Extract), also known as Japanese myrtle, helps regulate sebum production and can reduce the appearance of blemishes and blackheads. Myrtle clears the pores and soothes irritated and inflamed skin. It also provides moisture.
• Rosemary Extract (Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Extract) – This medicinal plant from the Mediterranean region promotes circulation and has a mild antibacterial effect. Mature skin benefits from its circulation-promoting properties. Rosemary can help restore balance to blemished skin. In hair care, rosemary stimulates circulation in the scalp, thereby improving nutrient absorption. It promotes hair growth and regulates sebum production.
• Marshmallow root / common marshmallow (Althaea Officinalis (Marshmallow) Extract) has soothing and healing effects. It helps relieve itching and protects the skin from environmental influences. It also supports the skin’s moisture balance. It is very suitable for sensitive skin; the active ingredient is also recommended for skin prone to neurodermatitis or eczema. This mallow plant is effective even for acne-prone, blemished, and inflamed skin. It is also an effective active ingredient in hair care.
• The valuable tea tree oil (Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Oil), like most essential oils, is obtained through steam distillation. Tea tree oil has antiseptic, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties. Especially for spots, blemishes, and inflammatory skin problems such as acne, tea tree oil combats the underlying causes and can alleviate symptoms. The evergreen tea tree originates from Australia.
• Calendula / marigold (Calendula Officinalis Flower Oil / Extract), from the daisy family, is especially known for its anti-inflammatory, soothing, and wound-healing effects. It also promotes collagen formation and helps produce new tissue, an important process in wound healing, while carotenoids strengthen the skin barrier. Very well tolerated and also suitable for baby skin. Secondary plant compounds known as flavonoids have an antioxidant effect and protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals.
• Cajeput oil (Melaleuca Leucadendron Cajaputi Oil) is extracted from the leaves and branches of the Melaleuca tree, which is native to Southeast Asia but also grows in Australia and India. This essential oil is known for its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and pain-relieving properties, making it a valuable ingredient in skincare.
• Zinc PCA (Pyrrolidone Carboxylic Acid) is a natural component involved in maintaining skin moisture and has strong antimicrobial and sebum-regulating properties. Zinc inhibits the activity of sebum-stimulating enzymes and can thereby reduce excessive sebum production. Its pronounced antibacterial effect, combined with its ability to reduce sebum production, makes it highly suitable for acne-prone and blemished skin. Zinc PCA also has an astringent effect, tightening the pores and creating a smoother appearance.
