Active Ingredients

• Hyaluronic Acid / Sodium Hyaluronate stores moisture up to 1000 times its weight. Hyaluronic acid is a main component of connective tissue, filling and supporting it. Due to its ability to bind large amounts of water, it is responsible for the skin’s moisture content. Hyaluronic acid also promotes skin firmness and elasticity. As we age, we lose our natural hyaluronic acid, which is one of the main causes of wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid helps fill fine lines and plump the skin.
• Prickly Pear Extract (Opuntia Ficus-Indica Extract) is rich in vitamins, proteins, minerals, and fatty acids. It has exceptionally good water-binding properties and protects the skin from oxidative stress. Due to its firming properties, it is sometimes referred to as an alternative to Botox.
• Knotted Wrack Algae / Brown Algae (Ascophyllum Nodosum (Brown Algae) Extract) contains a high concentration of antioxidants, trace elements such as iodine, zinc, potassium, or beta-carotene, and bioactive compounds like alginic acid, ascorbic acid, or carotenoids. These bioactive components support cell renewal and promote clear, smooth, and soft skin. Antioxidants help combat damage from free radicals, and the amino acids, vitamins, and minerals in brown seaweed stimulate elastin and collagen production.
• Shea Butter (Butyrospermum parkii (shea) nut butter) is obtained from the fruit of the karité tree. Shea butter has a long tradition as a care and healing agent. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, and beta-carotene, the butter protects against environmental stress, binds moisture, fights free radicals, promotes cell regeneration, and makes skin and hair soft and supple.
• Oat Extract (Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract) has moisturizing, soothing, and anti-inflammatory properties. Acts as a natural skin cleanser, removes dirt and impurities, reduces pores, improves tone, and smooths skin texture.
• Aloe Vera Extract / Juice (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract / Juice) provides natural moisture, prevents skin dryness, and strengthens the natural skin barrier. Aloe Vera contains vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and essential amino acids. It supplies the skin with oxygen and is considered effective in supporting cell renewal. It binds moisture, has a cooling, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial effect.
• Argan Oil (Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil) is extracted from the kernels of the argan fruit. The unique argan trees grow only in southwestern Morocco. The antioxidant- and vitamin-rich oil is used in skin and hair care. The high fatty acid content (linoleic acid) supports the build-up and maintenance of the skin barrier. Its anti-inflammatory properties help with problematic skin, and the high vitamin E content protects against free radicals and promotes cell turnover. It provides moisture to hair, protects against environmental stress, promotes a healthy appearance, and soothes itchy scalp and psoriasis. The non-comedogenic oil also acts as a light, natural heat and UV protectant.
• Olive Oil (Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit / Leaf Oil) provides moisture and creates a soft skin feel. It consists of 85% essential fatty acids with a high proportion of linoleic acid that supports the skin’s protective barrier. Vitamin E and polyphenols are powerful free radical scavengers and protect against premature skin aging.
• Squalane or Squalane Oil (Squalane) is a light, non-comedogenic, and non-greasy oil that leaves skin silky soft. Squalane is a natural component of our skin barrier and is therefore very well absorbed by our skin. It protects the skin from moisture loss and prevents oxidation of the skin’s own fats. The regenerating oil prevents age spots, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, makes the skin supple, and promotes oxygen supply and cell regeneration. It is mostly derived from olive oil, less commonly from rice bran or wheat germ oil. For cosmetics, squalene is converted into squalane. Squalane contains no unsaturated compounds and is therefore oxidation-resistant and longer-lasting. By the way, squalane was originally obtained from shark liver, hence the name. Squalus is the Latin name for shark.
