Active Ingredients

• Banksia (Banksia Serrata Flower Extract) is a resilient tree that can survive the notorious bushfires in Australia. Adapted to its environment, banksia is a powerhouse of effective phytocompounds, antioxidants, bioactive flavonoids, amino acids, and vitamins that can improve skin structure and strengthen capillaries. This can reduce swelling and inflammation. Nectar from banksia flowers has traditionally been used to soothe coughs and sore throats.
• Macadamia Nut Oil (Macadamia Integrifolia (Macadamia) Seed Oil) provides intense moisture and cares especially for dry, cracked, and stressed skin. The oil smooths and regenerates the skin. The beneficial mix of unsaturated, healthy fatty acids and the high content of vitamins and trace elements have earned macadamia the name "queen of nuts." Its fatty acid profile resembles our skin’s natural sebum, so it is very well absorbed. The oil is non-comedogenic and absorbs quickly without residue.
• Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) – The high fatty acid content makes skin soft, supple, and resilient. The oil has antibacterial properties, absorbs quickly, and contains vitamins B, E, minerals, and beta-carotene (provitamin A). It supports cell development and renewal, fights skin aging, and strengthens the skin’s natural protective barrier. Also excellent for hair and scalp care. By the way, jojoba oil is technically a plant wax, not an oil.
• Honeysuckle Flowers / Honeysuckle Extract (Lonicera japonica flower extract) is traditionally used in Japan and East Asia to care for inflamed or stressed skin. Honeysuckle has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties and is also a powerful antioxidant. It tones, heals, and protects against damage from free radicals.
• Bakuchiol / Bakuchi Seed Oil (Bakuchi (Psoralea corylifolia) Seed Oil) is derived from the seeds and leaves of the Indian plant Psoralea Corylifolia and is considered a natural retinol alternative. A powerful plant for treating skin discoloration, hyperpigmentation, and leukoderma. With antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties, bakuchi promotes the skin’s natural tone and helps normalize individual pigmentation. Bakuchiol has been shown to stimulate collagen production, minimize fine lines and wrinkles, and improve skin texture and firmness. The ingredient has a long tradition as a medicinal plant in Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Unlike traditional retinoids, it does not cause burning, irritation, or redness.
• Rosehip Seed Oil or Wild Rose Oil (Rosa Canina Fruit Oil) is extracted from the fruits of the wild rose and is considered a very effective plant oil for skin care. The oil is rich in provitamin A, vitamins C and E, minerals, carotenoids, and polyunsaturated fatty acids. Wild rose oil fights free radicals, promotes skin cell renewal, and balances skin tone. It supports collagen production, is well tolerated, and is very suitable for dry, flaky skin, pigmentation spots, and scars. Acne-prone skin also benefits from its high content of anti-inflammatory linoleic and linolenic acids.
• Squalane or Squalane Oil (Squalane) is a lightweight, non-comedogenic, and non-greasy oil that leaves skin silky soft. Squalane is a natural component of our skin barrier and is therefore very well absorbed. It protects the skin from moisture loss and prevents oxidation of the skin’s natural fats. This regenerating oil helps prevent age spots, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, makes skin supple, and promotes oxygen supply and cell regeneration. It is mostly derived from olive oil, less commonly from rice bran or wheat germ oil.
• Carrot Seed Oil / Extract (Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Seed Oil) – the nourishing and skin-rejuvenating oil is rich in vitamin A, provitamin A (beta-carotene), vitamins B1, B2, and C, linoleic and linolenic acids. Dry, cracked, and brittle skin is softened and moisturized. Vitamin A has cell-protective properties and can help prevent premature skin aging. Carotene can give the skin a slightly darker tone (natural self-tanner).
• Cucumber provides moisture, firms, cools, and soothes all skin types. It is also beneficial and well tolerated for acne-prone skin and skin conditions such as atopic dermatitis and psoriasis. Rich in minerals like potassium, sodium, silicon, and magnesium, it supports skin health and moisture balance. Cucumber was likely cultivated in India over three thousand years ago.
