Active Ingredients

• Seaweed Extracts & Spirulina - Antioxidant-rich marine plants that soothe and restore skin exhausted by the elements. A nutrient-rich superfood packed with proteins and amino acids. The algae also boasts high levels of vitamins B1, B2, and B3, as well as iron and copper. Nine essential amino acids strengthen the skin, make it supple, and provide moisture. The plant also contains many powerful antioxidants and supports the skin against premature aging, acne, redness, uneven skin tone, and dryness. The secondary plant compound chlorophyll stimulates oxygen supply and cell renewal.

• Saccharide Isomerate - A plant-derived humectant known for delivering lasting moisture for all-day softness.

• Squalane - A lightweight, non-comedogenic, and non-greasy oil that leaves skin silky soft. Squalane is a natural component of our skin barrier and is therefore very well absorbed by the skin. It protects the skin from moisture loss and prevents oxidation of the skin’s own fats. This regenerating oil helps prevent age spots, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, makes skin supple, and promotes oxygen supply and cell regeneration. It is mostly derived from olive oil, less commonly from rice bran or wheat germ oil. For cosmetics, squalene is converted into squalane. Squalane contains no unsaturated compounds anymore, making it oxidation-resistant and longer-lasting. Incidentally, squalane was originally obtained from shark liver, hence the name. Squalus is the Latin name for shark.

• Argan Oil - Extracted from the kernels of the argan fruit. The unique argan trees grow only in southwestern Morocco. The antioxidant- and vitamin-rich oil is used in skin and hair care. Its high fatty acid content (linoleic acid) supports the build-up and maintenance of the skin barrier. Its anti-inflammatory properties help with problematic skin, and the high vitamin E content protects against free radicals and promotes cell turnover. It provides moisture to hair, protects against environmental stressors, promotes a healthy appearance, and soothes itchy scalp and psoriasis. The non-comedogenic oil also acts as a light, natural heat and UV protectant.
