Active Ingredients

• Kiwi is packed with sugars, minerals, alpha hydroxy acids, vitamin C, and vitamin E. It has significant antioxidant, nourishing, and protective properties. It makes skin and hair smoother and softer, detoxifies thanks to vitamin C, strengthens hair, and makes it shinier and more radiant.
• Flaxseed oil/extract (Linum Usitatissimum (Flax) Seed Extract/Oil) – The high omega-3 content of the oil has anti-inflammatory effects and can suppress outbreaks and soothe irritated, dry skin. The oil locks in moisture and keeps the skin hydrated and healthy, which can make the skin firmer. It is also attributed with cell-regenerating properties. In hair care, flaxseed nourishes hair follicles with nutrients and promotes hair growth and elasticity. It combats dry and flaky scalp.
• Antioxidants are chemical compounds that prevent or slow down oxidation processes in the body/skin. Antioxidants counteract so-called free radicals. These are unstable and reactive molecules missing an electron. They steal this missing electron from healthy body cells, damaging them. This process is called oxidation. Antioxidants provide these aggressive molecules with the missing electron, neutralizing them. When the concentration of free radicals in the body is very high, it is called oxidative stress. This leads to cell damage that the body cannot easily repair. Prolonged oxidative stress can impair the skin’s natural regeneration, accelerate aging, and promote wrinkle formation. Smoking, alcohol, UV radiation, medications, as well as psychological stress and excessive exercise can increase oxidative stress. Antioxidants are found in vitamins, trace elements, enzymes, and secondary plant compounds.
• Amino acids keep your skin supple. Due to their small size, they easily penetrate the skin and help transport moisture through it. They support the production of collagen and elastin and protect the skin from free radicals. Some amino acids act as antioxidants themselves, but most support the skin in producing its own antioxidants.
• Hair is mostly made of keratin protein. Keratin can be damaged by environmental influences and external stress. With too little protein, hair looks lifeless and dull and can break. Proteins strengthen hair, can rebuild it, and make it resilient. Proteins help repair the cuticle layer and act as a protective shield for the hair shaft. Proteins combat signs of hair damage such as split ends and excessive dryness.
