Active Ingredients

• Castor oil (Ricinus communis seed oil) consists largely of ricinoleic acid, which has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. The oil combats impurities, moisturizes, improves scar texture, and smooths the skin. Its high vitamin E content also helps fight free radicals and premature skin aging.
• Shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii (shea) nut butter) is obtained from the fruit of the karité tree. Shea butter has a long tradition as a care and healing agent. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, and beta carotene, the butter protects against environmental stress, retains moisture, fights free radicals, promotes cell regeneration, and makes skin and hair soft and supple.
• Macadamia nut oil (Macadamia Integrifolia (Macadamia) Seed Oil) provides abundant moisture and especially cares for dry, cracked, and stressed skin. The oil smooths and regenerates the skin. The beneficial mix of unsaturated, healthy fatty acids and the high content of vitamins and trace elements have earned macadamia the name “queen of nuts.” Its fatty acid profile resembles our skin’s natural sebum and is therefore very well absorbed. The oil is non-comedogenic and absorbs quickly and without residue.
• Jojoba oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) – The high fatty acid content makes the skin soft, supple, and resilient. The oil has antibacterial effects, absorbs quickly, and contains vitamins B, E, minerals, and beta carotene (provitamin A). It strengthens cell development and renewal, fights skin aging, and strengthens the skin’s natural protective barrier. Also very suitable for hair and scalp care. Incidentally, jojoba oil is technically not an oil but a plant wax.
• Argan oil (Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil) is extracted from the kernels of the argan fruit. The unique argan trees grow only in southwestern Morocco. The antioxidant- and vitamin-rich oil is used in skin and hair care. The high fatty acid content (linoleic acid) supports the build-up and maintenance of the skin barrier. Its anti-inflammatory properties help with problematic skin, and the high vitamin E content protects against free radicals and promotes cell turnover. It moisturizes hair, protects against environmental stress, promotes a healthy appearance, and soothes itchy scalp and psoriasis. The non-comedogenic oil also acts as a light, natural heat and UV protector.
