For perfect care, the nail polishes are enriched with vitamins A, C, E, and Pro B5. These vitamins help maintain the natural strength and flexibility of the nail.

Application

• File the fingernails into the desired shape and degrease the nails. Do not use any hand cream or other care products before painting.
  
• To improve durability, use the Top & Base Coat Elly .
• Apply the first layer of colored nail polish thinly. Paint from the center of the nail outward. Then wait about 2 minutes before applying the second layer to prevent bubbles.
• Don’t be too sparing with the nail polish, as this can cause streaks.
• Finally, seal the color polish with Elly or Quick Coat Carla to add extra shine and durability.
• After painting, do not shower or bathe immediately; allow the nail polish to dry thoroughly.

• DO'S & DONT'S:
• Never apply polish on wet nails; as they dry, nails shrink slightly and the polish can chip more easily.
• Keep a distance from the cuticle, as this area is prone to chipping.
• Do not blow on fresh nail polish, as this introduces moisture to the polish surface and slows drying. Tip: Nail polish dries faster on warm hands.
• Do not experiment with a hairdryer or ice water! The polish must dry evenly and slowly to last the longest.
• Always store nail polish in a dark place at room temperature and not in the refrigerator, as this makes it thick.
• For daily care, apply OZN Bio Nail Oil in the evening; it nourishes and strengthens the nails with vitamin E.

• THE TRICK WITH THE 2 BRUSHES:
• With all OZN nail polishes, you will find a wide and a narrow brush in the packaging. This way, you can choose your favorite brush and switch between the two brushes as needed. 1. Choose your favorite brush, 2. Remove the safety cap from the bottle, 3. Insert the brush into the bottle, 4. Screw the cap onto the bottle. To switch, simply grasp the brush with a tissue and pull, pressing the brush slightly to the side to release it from the cap. Now insert the other brush into the bottle and screw the cap back on.
• The brushes are made of vegan brush hair and stems from bio-based polyamides.
• The cap and safety closure are made of lignin. Lignin consists of bio-polymers from natural fibers and natural additives. The cap can be disposed of in the green bin; decomposition takes place in industrial composting facilities.
• The original color of the nail polish may differ slightly from the representation on the internet. Also, the color on the nails often looks somewhat different than in the bottle.

Above all highest product quality, it is especially important to us to work with as few harmful chemical ingredients as possible. This means we largely avoid substances suspected of being harmful to health. Here is an overview of all substances we DO NOT use in our nail polishes:

1. Propyl Acetate: Solvent, can impair fertility and may harm the unborn child.
2. Ethyl Tosylamide: Plasticizer, banned in many personal care products in Europe due to antibiotic properties and antibiotic resistance.
3. Triphenyl Phosphate (TPP/TPHP): can affect hormone balance, reproduction, and metabolism.
4. Phthalates, Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Diethylhexyl Phthalate (DEHP): Plasticizers, inhalation or swallowing can cause health damage and may cause temporary symptoms such as dizziness, nausea, and headaches. 
5. Toluene, Methylbenzene: Solvent, degreases the skin and can cause inflammation. May cause breathing difficulties.
6. Xylene: Solvent, can be harmful to health if absorbed through the skin or respiratory tract.
7. Camphor: Plasticizer, inhalation can cause nausea, dizziness, and headaches.
8. Formaldehyde: considered carcinogenic but may be used in concentrations below 1% in Germany.
9. Formaldehyde resin: classified as less carcinogenic than formaldehyde, can cause skin allergies and proven dermatitis.
10. Rosin: a harmful resin that can cause contact eczema.
11. Halogenated organic compounds (AOX): solvents, chemical compounds containing bromine, iodine, fluorine, and chlorine, considered carcinogenic and can cause nerve damage.
12. Parabens: preservatives often associated with an increased risk of breast and skin cancer.
13. Silicone: e.g., dimethicone, can cause allergies and irritation; environmentally harmful, non-biodegradable chemical.
14. Acetone: a chemical compound that can irritate the skin. The fumes can cause nausea.
15. Fragrances: used to mask chemical odors, can cause allergies and irritation.
16. Fragrance oils: used to mask chemical odors, can cause allergies and irritation.
17. MOAH (Mineral Oil Aromatic Hydrocarbons), MOSH (Mineral Oil Saturated Hydrocarbons): mineral oils that are potentially carcinogenic.
18. Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Benzophenone-3, 2-Hydroxy-4-methoxybenzophenone, Benzophenone-4: UV filters that protect the polish in the bottle from discoloration. These can act similarly to the female hormone estrogen. This can lead to fertility disorders, obesity, and in the worst case, breast cancer.
19. Triethanolamine: stabilizer, possible immune system disruption and irritation of the respiratory tract or allergy potential. Formation of nitrosamines possible, which can be carcinogenic.
20. Microplastics: binders, fillers, film formers, harmful to humans and nature.
21. Animal ingredients: such as carmine, guanine, or beeswax. Carmine is a red pigment obtained by crushing cochineal insects. It should be noted that real carmine from insects and synthetically produced vegan carmine share the same CI number 75470.
22. Animal testing: we do not use ingredients tested on animals.

OZN guarantees that the substances listed here are not used by us. However, we would still like to point out that traces of some substances might possibly be found in the lab. Although we only work with certified suppliers, minimal contamination cannot be completely ruled out. This is similar in the food industry, hence the common notice "May contain traces of nuts."
