The Deep Purifying Toner by TEAM DR JOSEPH is formulated for combination, oily, large-pored and blemish-prone skin. After cleansing, it removes remaining residue and excess sebum, supports the skin’s natural pH and provides a fresh, more matte skin feel.

Witch hazel and green tea waters form the botanical base of the formula. Papaya, prickly pear, willowherb and tea tree complement the clarifying care, while aloe vera and glycerin provide moisture and help prevent an unpleasant feeling of tightness.

• Witch hazel (Hamamelis Virginiana Leaf Extract) – witch hazel leaf extract is made from the leaves and bark of the shrub. It helps remove excess oil, has an anti-inflammatory effect, and balances the skin’s pH. It is known to reduce acne and tighten the skin. Natural healing properties for a clearer complexion.
• Lemon balm (Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) Leaf) is a member of the mint family and is considered a soothing herb. The plant was already used in the Middle Ages to reduce stress and restlessness, promote sleep, stimulate the appetite, and relieve discomfort caused by digestive disorders. Studies have shown that lemon balm may help reduce symptoms of anxiety by improving mood and lowering stress hormone levels. In addition, there is evidence that lemon balm improves cognitive function and can reduce feelings of stress and tension.
• Green tea extract (Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract) is distilled from the leaves of the tea plant. Green tea has strong antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps fight acne and breakouts, has a cleansing effect, and promotes a clear complexion. It is used to combat premature skin and hair aging, helps reduce the appearance of pores, and makes the skin look fresher. Green tea also has a soothing effect; it can reduce redness and irritation and relieve itching.
• Aloe vera juice (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice) provides natural moisture, prevents the skin from drying out, and strengthens the natural skin barrier. Aloe vera contains vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and essential amino acids. It supplies the skin with oxygen and is considered effective in supporting cell renewal. It binds moisture, has a cooling, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial effect.
• Glycerin – this sugar alcohol is part of the skin’s natural moisturizing system. Lipids (fats) in the skin are made up of glycerin and fatty acids. Glycerin has a hydrating effect and helps prevent water loss. Glycerin also helps stabilize the skin’s barrier function.
• Papaya juice (Carica Papaya Fruit Juice) is rich in vitamin C, supports collagen production, and firms the skin. The antioxidants it contains, such as beta-carotene and vitamin A, combat free radicals and improve the complexion. In addition, its natural enzyme content, particularly the enzyme papain, provides gentle exfoliation, removes dead skin cells, and cleanses the pores. Papaya juice moisturizes, promotes skin regeneration, and improves elasticity while also brightening and evening out the skin tone.

• The mystical substance frankincense (Boswellia Carterii (Frankincense) Resin Extract/Oil) is probably familiar to most people by its scent.
