Compared to the classic Oden lip balm, hazelnut oil has been replaced by cherry kernel oil; additionally, Orkanet extract provides a natural plant-based tint for a subtle, natural coloration.

All ingredients come from sustainably farmed sources in France. They are carefully processed and freshly prepared in the Oden manufactory in Paris. Due to the careful selection of ingredients, Oden products are particularly rich in fatty acids, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals.

Usage

• Gently apply the balm to the lips and spread/massage it in.
• Use in the morning for protection, during the day as needed, and in the evening as a nourishing finish.

Active Ingredients

• Almond oil / Sweet almond oil (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis / Sweet Almond Oil) is mild and well suited for caring for sensitive skin. Almond oil has soothing, emollient, and moisture-retaining effects. Dry, irritated, and mature skin benefits especially. Almond oil softens and smooths the skin and is also good for hair care. Vitamins and the high content of unsaturated fatty acids (especially oleic acid) strengthen the barrier function and provide protection.
• Sunflower oil (Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil) has a high content of linoleic acid, antioxidants, and vitamin E. It supports wound healing, has antibacterial effects, and helps the skin regenerate. The oil combats skin impurities with vitamins A and D. It is well absorbed and does not clog pores. For hair, it is a natural moisturizer that strengthens hair, promotes growth, eliminates frizz, and adds shine.
• Vitamin E / Tocopherol enables long-lasting moisture retention between cells. This powerful antioxidant neutralizes harmful free radicals and can inhibit oil oxidation, preventing blackheads. Vitamin E also promotes cell regeneration and strengthens the skin’s natural protective barrier.
• Beeswax (Cera Flava, Cera Alba) – The wax forms a protective film on the skin, binding moisture without clogging pores. Beeswax also has a mild antiseptic effect and can reduce inflammation. It soothes irritated skin and can even help with eczema. The vitamin A contained in the wax promotes cell renewal and thus counteracts premature skin aging.
• Honey (Mel / Honey / Leptospermum mel (manuka honey) extract) – Natural honey is antiseptic and antimicrobial, helping to cleanse the skin and thoroughly eliminate bacteria. Honey contains gluconic acid, a mild alpha hydroxy acid that brightens and fades age spots. Raw honey is enriched with a variety of nutrients such as vitamin B, manganese, iron, potassium, and calcium. When mixed with water, honey releases peroxide properties that help heal acne and inhibit bacterial growth. Additionally, honey is a humectant that supplies moisture to the skin and provides it with a wealth of nutrient-rich enzymes.
• Cherry kernel oil (Prunus cerasus seed oil) is very nutrient-rich and has a high content of unsaturated fatty acids such as oleic acid, linoleic acid, and palmitoleic acid. These fatty acids promote elasticity and suppleness and are essential for healthy skin function. The skin is supplied with lipids, moisture loss is limited, and the skin barrier regenerates. The fat-soluble vitamins A, E, and K have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. The high concentration of antioxidants, such as flavonoids, supports skin health and can help improve the appearance of fine lines. Minerals like magnesium, calcium, potassium, and phosphorus are also found in cherry kernel oil and contribute to optimal cell function and healthy metabolism.
