Ravanat uses whole bakuchiol seeds in the formula. In this traditional preparation, the seeds are soaked overnight in water, mixed with sesame oil, and ground into a paste. This mixture is then heated until no trace of water remains. What remains is bakuchiol oil in its purest form. It is an ancient method known in Ayurveda for improving hyperpigmentation and preserving youthful skin.

Active Ingredients

• Licorice Root Extract (Glycyrrhiza Glabra Root Extract) has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. It is known for its skin-smoothing and itch-relieving properties. It is therefore used for inflamed, irritated, and sensitive skin. Its antiviral and antibacterial effects make licorice a sought-after ingredient.
• Rose Oil (Rosa Damascena Flower Oil) – Essential rose oil from the flowers of the Damask rose acts antiseptically, anti-inflammatory, promotes circulation, and supports cell regeneration. An anti-aging ingredient that smooths the skin.
• Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is a staple of Ayurveda and is also called “Indian ginseng.” This adaptogen supports collagen production, has strong antioxidant properties, and acts antimicrobial and antibacterial. Adaptogenic herbs and plants help maintain our body’s balance.
• The lotus flower (Nelumbo Nucifera (Lotus Flower)) contains fatty acids, antioxidants, flavonoids, polyphenols, and vitamins that nourish the skin and improve firmness and elasticity. The lotus flower also brightens and balances the skin. It helps regulate sebum production and prevents clogged pores, blackheads, and acne.

• Bakuchiol / Bakuchiol Seed Oil (Bakuchi (Psoralea corylifolia) Seed Oil) is derived from the seeds and leaves of the Indian plant Psoralea Corylifolia and is considered a natural retinol alternative. A powerful plant for treating skin discoloration, hyperpigmentation, and leukoderma. With antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties, bakuchiol promotes the skin’s natural tone and helps normalize individual skin pigmentation. • Geranium Oil (Pelargonium Graveolens (Geranium) Oil) regulates the skin’s sebum production. While it reduces sebum production in oily skin, it stimulates sebum production in dry skin. • Shea Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Nut Butter) is extracted from the fruit of the karité tree. Shea butter has a long tradition as a care and healing agent. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, and beta-carotene, the butter protects against environmental stress, binds moisture, fights free radicals, promotes cell regeneration, and makes skin and hair soft and supple.
• Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) supports the synthesis of lipids and ceramides essential for the skin’s barrier function. It improves skin texture and evens out uneven skin tone.
