No. Double Scoop is a new fragrance creation by Abel, not a reformulation of an existing perfume. The fragrance combines aromatic rosemary and toasted black sesame with butterscotch, milky vanilla, and musk.
Are Abel’s perfumes 100% natural?
Yes. Abel works with 100% natural fragrance ingredients and consistently avoids petrochemical raw materials. Alongside plant-based essences, extracts, and absolutes, it also uses modern, naturally derived isolates, biotechnologically produced fragrance ingredients, and upcycled raw materials. This creates contemporary, expressive compositions with a natural signature.
What role does biotechnology play at Abel?
Abel combines plant-based raw materials with modern biotechnology. This makes it possible to produce certain fragrance molecules naturally, without relying on petrochemical feedstocks. In Double Scoop, biotechnologically produced vanillin gives the fragrance its clear, creamy vanilla note and complements the vanilla absolute from Madagascar.
How long does Double Scoop last on the skin?
A fragrance’s longevity always depends on skin type, temperature, humidity, and the amount applied. Double Scoop’s warm base of vanilla and musk remains especially soft and close to the skin. For longer-lasting wear, we recommend applying the fragrance to well-moisturized skin and avoiding rubbing it in immediately after spraying.
Can Double Scoop be combined with other fragrances?
Yes. Double Scoop is very well suited to layering, as its creamy vanilla base leaves room for other fragrance facets. The fragrance becomes particularly interesting when combined with fresh citrus notes, light woods, or contrasting spicy compositions. Apply the fragrances separately to different areas of skin first, then take your time discovering how they blend together.
Is Double Scoop vegan?
No. Double Scoop is not vegan because the fragrance contains ambrettolide—a natural musk note derived from a by-product of the lac insect life cycle.
Double Scoop is PETA-certified cruelty-free. Neither the perfume nor its ingredients are tested on animals.
How sustainable is the packaging?
The 50 ml bottle is made in France from 11% recycled glass. The spray head can be removed so the glass bottle can be recycled separately. The cap is made from Vivomer, a fully biodegradable material suitable for home composting.
The folding carton is made from 100% recycled paper—60% from recycled coffee cups and 40% from post-consumer recycled material. It is uncoated, printed with plant-based inks, and can be recycled again.

We carefully process and package your order in our warehouse in Reutlingen. Processing usually takes within 48 hours. As soon as your order has been handed over to the shipping service provider, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking. After handover to DHL, the shipping time within Germany is usually 1–3 business days.
The shipping costs 4.95€; for orders over 60€, we offer free shipping within Germany.
International orders are shipped depending on the destination country and package size with DHL International or Deutsche Post Warenpost International Premium. Returns: You can return unopened, unused, and undamaged products within 14 days of delivery. For returns within Germany, we provide a return label for 5.95€ upon request. Returns from abroad must be organized and paid for by the customer.
We package carefully, lovingly, and environmentally friendly. The box, filling material, and greeting card are made from recycled paper, and even the packing tape can be disposed of in the paper recycling bin.
