Active Ingredients

• Almond Oil / Sweet Almond Oil (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis / Sweet Almond Oil) is mild and well suited for caring for sensitive skin. Almond oil has soothing, emollient, and moisture-retaining effects. Dry, irritated, and mature skin benefits especially. Almond oil softens and smooths the skin and is also good for hair care. Vitamins and the high content of unsaturated fatty acids (especially oleic acid) strengthen the barrier function and provide protection.
• Kukui Nut Oil (Aleurites Moluccana (Kukui) Nut Oil) has been used for centuries in Hawaii as a beauty oil. The gentle, fast-absorbing oil contains linolenic acid, linoleic acid, and vitamins A, C, and E. It soothes skin irritations (e.g., eczema and psoriasis), provides moisture, and strengthens the skin barrier.
• Milk Thistle (Silybum Marianum) is very well tolerated and contains valuable fatty acids in the form of linoleic and oleic acid, flavonoids, and proteins. Milk thistle strengthens the skin barrier, protects the skin from free radicals, and combats signs of impurities. It also provides moisture, reduces fine wrinkles and lines, and refines pores. Very suitable for sensitive skin. Milk thistle is also used to protect the liver from harmful influences. This is due to the active compound silymarin, which can strengthen the outer membrane of liver cells and thus prevent the penetration of toxins. Additionally, silymarin helps the liver recover more quickly after damage.

• Blue Tansy (Tanacetum Annuum (Blue Tansy) Flower Oil) – also known as Moroccan chamomile. The word “Tansy” comes from the Greek word “Athanaton” meaning “immortal” – Blue Tansy promotes cell regeneration. The healing properties of Blue Tansy are based on the azulene pigment, which gives it a striking blue color, soothes the skin, and reduces redness and inflammation. Blue Tansy smooths damaged capillaries and improves tissue firmness and elasticity.
• Glycerin – This sugar alcohol is part of the skin’s natural moisture system. Lipids (fats) in the skin are made up of glycerin and fatty acids. Glycerin has a hydrating effect and helps prevent water loss. It also stabilizes the skin’s barrier function.
