Active Ingredients

• Zinc Oxide is a white pigment that occurs naturally. Zinc oxide is common in skincare; the mineral acts against pathogens and inflammation and promotes wound healing. Zinc oxide is also a mineral UV filter that protects the skin from harmful UVB and UVA rays. Mineral filters are small particles that reflect sunlight. The UV blocker is photostable, so it does not break down under UV radiation and maintains its protective effect for a longer time.
• Titanium Dioxide is a natural white pigment used in skincare as a UV filter. The mineral filter reflects sunlight and thus protects the skin from harmful UV rays. Titanium dioxide and zinc oxide are both good UV filters that protect against UVA and UVB radiation. Titanium dioxide offers slightly better protection against UVB rays, while zinc oxide protects better against UVA rays. A combination of both pigments can optimize sun protection.
• Rice Extract/Oil (Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extract / Oil) – rice contains a high amount of antioxidants, polysaccharides, omega-3 fatty acids, and micronutrients. Rice extract can refine pores and revitalize the skin. It has clarifying and anti-inflammatory effects, soothes, and reduces irritation.
• Hyaluronic Acid (Hyaluronic Acid / Sodium Hyaluronate) can hold up to 1000 times its weight in moisture. Topical hyaluronic acid forms a thin, viscoelastic surface film that locks moisture on the skin’s surface and helps smooth the skin and increase elasticity. As we age, we lose our natural hyaluronic acid, which is a main cause of wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid helps fill in fine lines and wrinkles and plumps the skin.
• Green Tea Extract (Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract) is distilled from the leaves of the tea plant. Green tea has strong antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps fight acne and breakouts, acts as a cleanser, and promotes a clear complexion. It is used to combat premature skin aging, promotes pore reduction, and makes the skin look fresher. Green tea also has a soothing effect, reducing redness and irritation and relieving itching.
