While sleeping, hair constantly rubs against the pillow; this is where the silk turban comes in: The smooth surface of the mulberry silk reduces friction and helps minimize hair breakage and frizz, as well as retain moisture in the hair. Curls, waves, afro hair, and delicate hair textures especially benefit because they are less roughened at night and require less refreshing.

Curly’n Covered develops hair accessories that are especially gentle on curls, waves, and delicate hair textures. The brand combines high-quality materials with thoughtful functionality and emphasizes careful manufacturing in Germany.

Material & Care

Material: 100% mulberry silk, 22 momme, grade 6A

Care instructions: Hand wash or use hand wash program in a laundry bag. It is best to use a special silk detergent. Do not tumble dry, do not dry in direct sunlight, and ideally dry flat on a towel. Iron at low temperature without steam. Do not bleach.

All fabrics except silk (bamboo, wax print, polyester) are mostly sourced within the EU.

We source silk fabrics from China. The quality, price, and certification regarding tested harmful substance residues have led us to source our silk from China. Unless otherwise stated in the product description, all silk products use 22 momme silk.

Why is there no consumer protection label on the products?

Consumer protection certifications may only be advertised and labeled if the final product is correctly certified as such. In our case, only the raw materials silk and bamboo are certified, so we are not permitted to sew labels with the corresponding seal onto the products. Furthermore, we are not allowed to name the label explicitly.

As a small startup, Curly'N'Covered currently lacks the resources and financial means to certify the final products. However, this will be implemented in due course.

    We carefully process and package your order in our warehouse in Reutlingen. Processing usually takes within 48 hours. As soon as your order has been handed over to the shipping service provider, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking. After handover to DHL, the shipping time within Germany is usually 1–3 business days.

    The shipping costs 4.95€; for orders over 60€, we offer free shipping within Germany.

    International orders are shipped depending on the destination country and package size with DHL International or Deutsche Post Warenpost International Premium. The available shipping methods and costs are shown at checkout. Shipping time depends on the destination country, chosen shipping method, and customs clearance.

    Returns: You can return unopened, unused, and undamaged products within 14 days of delivery. For returns within Germany, we provide a return label for 5.95€ upon request. Returns from abroad must be organized and paid for by the customer.

    We package carefully, lovingly, and environmentally friendly. The box, filling material, and greeting card are made from recycled paper, and even the packing tape can be disposed of in the paper recycling bin.
