The Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 30 by ILIA Beauty brings together three steps that would otherwise be applied one after another in the morning: moisturizing serum, lightweight foundation and mineral sunscreen. The fluid texture spreads like skincare with the fingers, gently evens out redness and imperfections, and leaves freckles and the skin’s natural texture visible. The complexion looks fresher, more even, and cared for – without the feel of traditional foundation.
The light to medium coverage is easy to adjust. Applied with the fingers, the result remains sheer and natural; with a foundation brush, it becomes more even and provides greater coverage. The finish is dewy and beautifully illuminates dry or tired-looking skin. For combination or oily skin, a little powder in the T-zone is enough, while the glow on the cheeks remains.

Niacinamide supports the skin barrier and helps pores and uneven skin tone appear refined. Two forms of hyaluronic acid and plant-based squalane help retain moisture and keep skin supple. Allantoin, bisabolol, and aloe vera soothe dry, sensitive skin, while 12% non-nano zinc oxide provides mineral broad-spectrum SPF 30 protection.

Application
- Shake the bottle vigorously before each use, as the silicone-free formula may naturally separate.
- Apply the Skin Tint preferably to clean, dry skin.
- If your skin needs additional care, first use a light moisturizer or facial oil and allow it to absorb completely.
- Dispense approximately half a pipette into your palms and spread the texture evenly over your face and neck with your fingers.
- For light, sheer coverage, use your fingers, or work the Skin Tint in with a foundation brush for more coverage.
- Wait approximately 60 seconds before assessing the shade.
- If you have combination or oily skin, lightly powder only the T-zone.
- For the stated sun protection factor, the product must be applied generously and evenly.
- When spending extended periods in the sun, exercising, swimming, or sweating heavily, additionally use a suitable water-resistant Facial sunscreen.
Clinical study results
In a clinical study with 52 women aged 19 to 60, participants confirmed:
- 100 %that the skin felt more hydrated immediately after application
- 100 %that pores appeared less visible after 28 days
- 94 %that the appearance of blemishes, redness, and uneven skin tone had improved after 28 days
- 90 %that fine lines and wrinkles appeared reduced after 28 days

What is the difference between a Skin Tint and a classic foundation?
A Skin Tint offers lighter, sheerer coverage and allows more of the skin’s natural texture to show through. The Super Serum Skin Tint complements this light tint with nourishing ingredients and mineral SPF 30.
How much coverage does the ILIA Super Serum Skin Tint provide?
Coverage ranges from light to medium. Applied with fingers, the result remains sheer; using a foundation brush and another thin layer can help even out redness and unevenness more effectively.
What finish does the Skin Tint have?
The finish is intentionally dewy and luminous. It looks like well-hydrated skin rather than a matte or highly covering foundation.
Is the Super Serum Skin Tint suitable for dry or mature skin?
Yes. Hyaluronic acid and squalane help retain moisture, and the dewy finish looks especially vibrant on dry or mature skin. For very dry skin, you can apply a lightweight moisturizer beforehand.
Can I use the Skin Tint on oily skin?
Yes. The formula is non-comedogenic. Since the finish is noticeably luminous, those with oily skin are advised to set the T-zone with a translucent powder after application.
Is the product suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. The Super Serum Skin Tint has been dermatologically tested and clinically assessed as suitable for sensitive skin. It is formulated without added fragrances, gluten, or silicones.
Why does the shade initially appear lighter immediately after application?
The zinc oxide it contains may initially make the color appear lighter. After approximately 60 seconds, the formula settles and the shade develops its final appearance.
How do I find the right shade?
First, determine whether your skin’s undertone is cool, warm, neutral, or olive. Our Foundation Guide can help you determine this. You can compare several shades at home with the Blanda Beauty Sample Set.
Why does the formula separate in the bottle?
Because the Skin Tint is formulated without silicones, individual ingredients may separate during storage. This is normal and does not indicate a quality defect. Shake the bottle thoroughly before each use.
How can I prevent the Skin Tint from crumbling or rolling off?
Apply it to clean skin whenever possible. If you want to use skincare beforehand, allow cream, oil, or sunscreen to absorb fully. Applying too many products in layers, or using very rich products, can encourage pilling.
Does the Skin Tint replace sunscreen?
The Skin Tint provides mineral SPF 30 when applied sufficiently and evenly. Since light makeup often involves using less product, we recommend applying a separate sunscreen if you plan to spend extended time in the sun. When swimming, exercising, or sweating heavily, a water-resistant sunscreen is necessary.
Is the Super Serum Skin Tint waterproof?
No. The formula is not water- or sweat-resistant and was not developed as a sports or beach sunscreen.
Does the Skin Tint have a fragrance?
The formula contains no added fragrances. The natural scent of the mineral and plant-based raw materials may be noticeable immediately after application, but it usually dissipates quickly.
Do all shades have the same ingredients?
ILIA publishes the same base formulation for all shades. Only the specific combination of the iron oxides and titanium dioxide listed under “May Contain” may vary depending on the shade.
Is the ILIA Super Serum Skin Tint vegan?
Yes. The formula contains no animal-derived ingredients. The product is also cruelty-free and Leaping Bunny certified.
