Active ingredients

• Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) – The high content of fatty acids makes the skin soft, supple, and resilient. The oil has antibacterial properties, absorbs quickly, and contains vitamins B, E, minerals, and beta-carotene (provitamin A). It strengthens cell development and renewal, fights skin aging, and reinforces the skin’s natural protective barrier. Also very suitable for hair and scalp care. By the way, jojoba oil is technically not an oil but a plant wax.
• Vitamin E / Tocopherol enables long-lasting moisture retention between the cells. This powerful antioxidant neutralizes harmful free radicals and can inhibit oil oxidation, thereby preventing blackheads. Vitamin E also promotes cell regeneration and strengthens the natural function of the skin’s protective barrier.
• Calendula (Calendula Officinalis Flower Oil / Extract) from the Asteraceae family is especially known for its anti-inflammatory, soothing, and wound-healing properties. It also promotes collagen production and helps generate new tissue (an important process in wound healing), and carotenoids strengthen the skin’s protective barrier. Very well tolerated, suitable even for baby skin. Secondary plant compounds, the so-called flavonoids, act as antioxidants and protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals.
• Horsetail (Equisetum arvense) contains flavonoids, potassium salts, saponins, and up to 10% silica. The acid is an essential building block of skin tissue and promotes renewal, elasticity, and firmness of the skin. Horsetail stimulates blood and lymph circulation and supports smooth, supple skin. Horsetail is a very ancient plant species and covered vast forests along with ferns and clubmosses about 350 million years ago.
• Ashwagandha / Winter Cherry (Withania somnifera) is a staple of Ayurveda and is also called “Indian Ginseng.” This adaptogen supports collagen production, has strong antioxidant properties, and acts antimicrobial and antibacterial. Adaptogenic herbs and plants help keep our body in balance.
• Squalane or Squalane Oil (Squalane) is a lightweight, non-comedogenic, and non-greasy oil that leaves skin silky soft. Squalane is a natural component of our skin barrier and is therefore very well absorbed by our skin. It protects the skin from moisture loss and prevents oxidation of the skin’s own fats. This regenerating oil helps prevent age spots, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, makes the skin supple, and promotes oxygen supply and cell regeneration.
• Licorice Root Extract (Glycyrrhiza Glabra Root Extract) has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. It is known for its skin-smoothing and itch-relieving properties. It is often used for inflamed, irritated, and sensitive skin. Its ability to fight viruses and bacteria makes licorice an effective and popular ingredient in skincare.
• Turmeric / Curcuma / Yellow Root (Curcuma Longa) has a strong antibacterial effect and fights germs, bacteria, and viruses on the skin. Well suited for problematic skin. Additionally, turmeric promotes blood circulation and regulates sebum production.
