• Horsetail is one of the richest natural sources of silica in nature, a mineral considered essential for the development of healthy hair, skin, and nails. Horsetail has traditionally been used by human cultures worldwide as food and medicine, consumed to support connective tissue, joints, muscles, bones, kidneys, and urinary tract health.
• He Shou Wu, commonly known as He Shou Wu in China, is a sacred root documented since ancient times as a powerful rejuvenating and anti-aging tonic. He Shou Wu has strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It is rich in iron and zinc, both of which promote blood formation and strengthen bones.
• Gynostemma, an ancient, sweet, and abundant adaptogen, has been used since antiquity as a longevity tonic. It is used for high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and to improve heart function. It is also used to strengthen the immune system, increase endurance and resilience to environmental stress, improve memory, and prevent hair loss.
  
• Calendula (Calendula Officinalis Flower Oil / Extract) from the Asteraceae family is especially known for its anti-inflammatory, soothing, and wound-healing effects. It also promotes collagen formation and helps produce new tissue (an important process in wound healing), and carotenoids strengthen the skin’s protective barrier. Very well tolerated, suitable even for baby skin. Secondary plant compounds, called flavonoids, act as antioxidants and protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals.

The rind provides a polyhydroxy xanthone derivative called mangostin or beta-mangostin. Fully ripe fruits contain the xanthones gartanin, beta-disoxygartanin, and normangostin. Research published in journals such as Free Radical Research and Journal of Pharmacology indicates these xanthones may have remarkable positive effects on cardiovascular health. They also have properties that help support the body’s ability to protect itself from cell damage caused by free radicals and promote healthy aging.
