Usage

• Take 1–2 capsules daily with plenty of water, ideally about 30 minutes before a meal.
• The recommended intake for people of childbearing age and during breastfeeding is 1 capsule per day.
• During pregnancy, the recommended intake is 2 capsules per day.

Is there anything to consider when taking iron?

Iron should be taken at least half an hour before a meal to ensure optimal absorption by the body. It should also be avoided to consume it together with calcium-rich foods, coffee, tea, or alcohol, as these substances can inhibit iron absorption in the body.

How should the iron capsules be stored best?

To maintain the optimal quality and effectiveness of our iron capsules, we recommend storing them in the original packaging, protected from light, tightly closed, and dry. Make sure to always take out the desired number of capsules with dry fingers/hands only and do not transfer the iron capsules to other containers.

Like almost all dried plants and their extracts, our iron from curry leaf has slight moisture-attracting properties and the ability to oxidize through air and humidity. This process can change the shape and color of the capsules. For this reason, it is not recommended to store the product in damp places such as bathrooms or near the stove in the kitchen.

Why is vitamin C added to the iron, and do I still need to take additional vitamin C?

The added natural vitamin C from rosehip greatly increases the bioavailability of iron for the body. This means the body can absorb the iron much better, allowing it to exert its effect optimally.

The vitamin C is included only in the necessary dose to improve iron absorption. However, the amount is too low to cover the daily requirement by itself.

Does the iron cause constipation?
