You may have already noticed a small error on the current label of your Omega-3 capsules. The ingredient list includes ascorbyl palmitate and sodium carbonate, which are not actually contained. This is a formal error for which Innonature would like to apologize. The ingredient list here in the shop is up to date and correct, so you can rely on it. The next batch will be corrected accordingly.

Where do the algae come from and are they really less contaminated than fish?

The algae oil comes from France. The algae are cultivated under strict controls to ensure there is no contamination. The algae are grown by fermentation in bioreactors.

Are the Omega-3 capsules also suitable for pregnant women (the capsules contain rosemary extract)?

The amount of rosemary extract in the Omega-3 capsules is so low that it is safe and does not promote labor. If you follow the dosage recommendation, you can safely take the Omega-3 capsules during pregnancy. For pregnant and breastfeeding women, we recommend 1 capsule daily.

Why has the ratio of DHA to EPA changed?

Due to supply shortages of our previous raw material, the Omega-3 capsules contain a new raw material with a slightly altered EPA content. The new oil also features a quality improvement, as it remains clear through special filtration.

Why is the EPA content so low?

We have deliberately chosen not to artificially enrich the vegan Omega-3 from algae oil with EPA, as is the case with many other supplements. We are proud to have found an algae oil that naturally contains values for DHA and EPA.
