This perfume by master perfumer David Apel is a captivating blend of exotic and intimate notes.

OR/2018 Perfume with a driftwood base uses subtle tones of sweetness – some vanilla, whisky for warmth, and a rare cannabis accord to emphasize mystical smoky notes. Sweet citrus fruits, coffee aromas, and indulgent notes of chocolate and pastry come alive on the skin as the fragrance develops.

Top notes: blood orange, star anise, lemon sugar
Heart notes: cannabis accord, myrrh, night-blooming jasmine
Base notes: vanilla cream, tonka bean, driftwood

David Apel: "This special fragrance connects to my childhood. I call the scent 'Cannabis Cupcake' and it reflects me and my experiences. I grew up on the rugged coast of New England. The fragrance contains rich woods and earthy moss, with subtle hints of sweetness and a cannabis accord that is like an intense rhubarb, a herbal, fresh, green, and subtle note with some spices."

With nearly four decades of experience in perfumery, David Apel is an award-winning star of the industry. "I had no idea about the world of perfumery, and I fell in love with the raw materials – they were exotic. They were crazy gums and resins with these strange, mystical names. I was thrilled, and it made me addicted. Somehow they felt familiar to me, I could identify with them and connect them to my senses."
