Usage

• Direct inhalation with the palm:
• Perhaps the simplest way to use bergamot oil is direct inhalation with the palms. Place a drop of this mood-lifting oil in your palm, gently rub your palms together, bring them to your face, and take a deep breath. Repeat this at any time of day when you want to feel uplifted and clear. As a quick palm inhalation blend, you can do this with a drop of rose oil to dispel feelings of sadness and melancholy.
• Diffuser:
• Bergamot is one of our favorite oils for the diffuser because its sweet scent blends well with almost all other oils – give it a try! It is loved by the whole family. We have found that children especially like bergamot. Bergamot is a great scent for year-round use to create a fresh, welcoming home.
• Other recommended uses:
• Apply a drop to support skin health, including relief from insect bites or itchy, red skin.
• Add a few drops to a spray bottle as a natural and pleasant insect repellent.
• Dilute one drop of bergamot in 2 tablespoons of warm water. Gargle the mixture to freshen breath and maintain oral health.
• At night, place two drops on a cotton ball and tuck it under your pillowcase before bedtime to promote restful and pleasant sleep.
• Note: Please observe safety precautions as citrus and sun are incompatible. Citrus oils, including bergamot, are phototoxic and can damage your skin if rubbed on and exposed to sunlight.
