The base of the moisturizer consists of shea butter, avocado oil, and macadamia nut oil. Active Ingredients

• Avocado (persea gratissima oil / fruit extract) is rich in monounsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, proteins, copper, folic acid, and magnesium – all building blocks for healthy skin and hair. Due to its high phytosterol content, it spreads easily and absorbs quickly. It supports the skin’s moisture balance, protects against dryness, and helps prevent wrinkles. In hair care, it adds shine, moisturizes dry, brittle, and damaged hair, strengthens it, and repairs damage.
• Peptides are small proteins made up of several amino acids. There are many different peptides that perform various functions in the body. They are involved in regulating cell growth and repair and the formation of (larger) proteins such as keratin, elastin, or collagen. This makes them a valuable and well-tolerated ingredient in skincare to combat premature skin aging, fine lines, and sagging structures. Some peptides also have anti-inflammatory properties and help reduce blemishes like pimples and blackheads.
• Macadamia nut oil (Macadamia Ternifolia (Macadamia) Seed Oil) provides intense moisture and cares for dry and cracked skin. The beneficial mix of unsaturated, healthy fatty acids and the high content of vitamins and trace elements have earned macadamia nut the name “queen of nuts.” The oil is non-comedogenic and absorbs quickly into the skin.
• Shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii (shea) nut butter) is extracted from the fruit of the karité tree. Shea butter has a long tradition as a care and healing agent. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, and beta-carotene, the butter protects against environmental stress, binds moisture, fights free radicals, promotes cell regeneration, and makes skin and hair soft and supple.
• Lime (Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime) Fruit Extract / Oil) is considered antiseptic, antibacterial, and antiviral in skincare and has a disinfecting effect. Lime is an effective antioxidant with a high vitamin C and E content. It stimulates circulation, supports skin renewal, and can help with uneven skin tone and pigmentation.
• AHA fruit acids (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) gently dissolve dead skin cells and promote the process of cell renewal (anti-aging effect). AHAs help with blemished skin, fight pimples, and reduce acne scars. They promote circulation and can lighten pigmentation spots and refine pore appearance.
• Jojoba oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) – The high fatty acid content makes the skin soft, supple, and resilient. The oil has antibacterial properties, absorbs quickly, and contains vitamins B, E, minerals, and beta-carotene (provitamin A). It strengthens cell development and renewal, fights skin aging, and strengthens the skin’s natural protective barrier. Also very suitable for hair and scalp care. By the way, jojoba oil is technically not an oil but a plant wax.
• Grapefruit contains a lot of vitamin C and can help revitalize and brighten a dull complexion. The contained salicylic acid supports this effect and also acts antimicrobial. Beta-carotene is a powerful antioxidant that can slow down the skin’s aging process, vitamin B and various minerals support the lymphatic system, and lycopene acts antibacterial.
