Active Ingredients

• Betaine (Betaine, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Trimethylglycine, Glycine betaine) is a natural amino acid derivative obtained from molasses (e.g., sugar beet). Depending on its form, betaine is used in skincare or as a surfactant. In skincare, betaine acts as a conditioner, soothes irritation, and protects against dryness. It has strong moisturizing properties. In cleansing products, it stabilizes foam; as an additive in shampoos and conditioners, it strengthens hair, adds volume, and improves hair grip.
• Hair is mostly made of keratin protein. Keratin can be damaged by environmental factors and external stress. With insufficient protein, hair appears lifeless and dull and can break. Proteins strengthen hair, can rebuild it, and make it resilient. Proteins help repair the cuticle layer and act as a protective shield for the hair shaft. Proteins combat signs of hair damage such as split ends and excessive dryness.
• Nettle extract (Urtica Dioica (Nettle) Leaf Extract) is rich in antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties. Nettle is traditionally used to treat eczema, wounds, and even psoriasis. The extracts are rich in vitamins A and E, flavonoids, carotenoids, and sitosterol and help protect the skin from environmental stress. Nettle regulates sebum production.
• Amino acids keep your skin and hair supple. Due to their small size, they easily penetrate the skin and help transport moisture through it. They support collagen and elastin production and protect the skin from free radicals. Some amino acids act as antioxidants themselves, but most support the skin in producing its own antioxidants.
• Lactic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid that gently exfoliates and can reduce hyperpigmentation and age spots. It also has the ability to shrink large pores and revive dull, uneven complexion.
• Flaxseed oil/extract (Linum Usitatissimum (Flax) Seed Extract/Oil) – The high omega-3 content of the oil has anti-inflammatory effects and can suppress outbreaks and soothe irritated, dry skin. The oil locks in moisture and keeps skin and hair hydrated and healthy, which can make skin firmer. It is also credited with cell-regenerating properties. In hair care, flaxseed nourishes hair follicles, promotes hair growth, and improves hair elasticity. Fights dry and flaky scalp.
• Arginine is a natural amino acid that stabilizes the skin’s pH and supports the skin’s barrier function. Arginine stimulates blood circulation in skin and hair, can regenerate skin damage, is involved in muscle cell and collagen formation, and promotes connective tissue development. Arginine is also very skin-friendly. We can obtain arginine through foods such as peanuts, lentils, salmon, eggs, chicken breast, and pumpkin seeds.
• Coconut surfactant is made from coconut oil and is a mild, plant-based surfactant used in skin cleansing products. Non-ionic surfactants are excellent fat dissolvers, very mild and compatible, and completely safe for humans and the environment. When proteins and fats are whipped, fine droplets form that enclose the air bubbles created. This produces a nice, harmless foam. Sodium Cocoate is the sodium salt of coconut fatty acids.
