For the delicate jasmine note, fresh and dried jasmine blossoms are layered over the tea several times using a traditional method. The jasmine slowly releases its natural fragrance into the tea leaves. The scented jasmine tea is then finely ground and combined with the matcha.

Artificial or so-called natural flavors are not necessary. The elegant floral note comes solely from the jasmine blossoms used. Sugar, fillers, and unnecessary additives are not used either.

Cosmic Dealer uses exclusively Matcha grown in Japan with traceable origins. The matcha for Jasmine Matcha comes from a single growing region in Shizuoka; the jasmine tea is also selected and processed in Japan. Each batch is also tested in the laboratory for heavy metals.

Taste

Smooth and full-bodied with rich umami, fresh green tea notes, and a delicate, natural jasmine fragrance. The floral nuance is elegant and refined, not sweet or artificial. The matcha has only a slight bitterness and remains pleasantly balanced.

Preparation

• For one serving, add 2 g (approx. 1 teaspoon) Jasmine Matcha to a matcha bowl or large cup.
• Pour in about 60–70 ml of hot water (approx. 80°C) and whisk until smooth and slightly frothy using a matcha whisk or milk frother.
• Top up with more hot water or warm or cold milk to taste. This floral matcha is especially harmonious with oat, almond, or coconut drink.
• To make an Iced Jasmine Matcha Latte, first mix the matcha with a small amount of water, then add ice cubes and cold plant-based milk and enjoy.
