What is cellulose acetate?
The combs and hair accessories from Coucou Suzette are made from cellulose acetate. Unlike plastic, resin, or synthetic materials, this material is based on natural and renewable raw materials such as the pulp of fruits and vegetables. Cellulose acetate is produced by reacting cellulose with acetic acid. This relatively new raw material, derived from renewable and natural sources, is 100% plant-based and free from animal by-products.
