Applied on its own to the cheekbones, eyelids, brow bone or collarbone, the glow becomes more targeted and intense. For the body, the Illuminiser can simply be mixed with body lotion or body oil; even self-tanner can be enhanced with a golden shimmer.

Golden Illuminiser is not just makeup. The water-based formula starts with organic aloe vera and also contains glycerin, hyaluronic acid, sunflower oil, vitamin E and allantoin. This means it combines a visual glow with hydration and a pleasantly cared-for skin feel. Especially when classic highlighters can quickly look too powdery or obvious on dry skin, the liquid, transparent texture is a lovely alternative.

Key ingredients

• Organic aloe vera: Aloe vera is listed first in the formula and therefore forms the basis of the liquid Illuminiser. It provides moisture and supports a pleasantly fresh skin feel - a lovely difference from many highlighter textures that rely more heavily on powder or wax.

• Mica pigments: Finely reflective pigments create the characteristic golden shimmer without depositing an opaque layer of colour on the skin. Depending on the amount used, the result ranges from subtle radiance to a clearly visible highlight.
• Sunflower oil, vitamin E & allantoin: Sunflower oil complements the lightweight formula with nourishing lipids, while vitamin E contributes antioxidant properties. Allantoin additionally supports a soft, soothed skin feel and makes the formula interesting for more sensitive skin as well.

Application

• Shake well before each use.
• For targeted highlights, dab a small amount onto the cheekbones, eyelids, brow bone, cupid's bow or collarbone and blend with your fingers or a brush.
• For a subtle glow all over the face, mix a few drops with moisturiser, Glory Oil or foundation.
• For especially radiant results, Eco By Sonya recommends combining it with the Super Fruit Hydrator under foundation.
• For a golden body glow, mix a few drops with body lotion or body oil and apply to the arms, legs, shoulders or décolletage.
• It can also be mixed with self-tanner if you want the result to have an additional fine golden shimmer.

How strong is the shine of Golden Illuminiser?
The intensity can be adjusted very easily. A few drops in skincare or foundation create a subtle, transparent glow; applied on its own to individual areas of the face, the golden shimmer becomes much more visible.

Does Golden Illuminiser contain chunky glitter particles?
No. The finish is created by finely reflective shimmer pigments and appears more radiant than glittery. How intense the effect is depends mainly on the amount used.

Is Golden Illuminiser also suitable for dry skin?
